Works as expected
I've been using this hard drive for a couple months now, and I haven't come across any issues while using this brand. It's also given me more space to store my files.

I think it’s great so far! Definitely worth the money.
My computer was low on storage for the longest time as someone who simply can not stop downloading stuff for the life of me. My computer was filled with lots of games and mods that I used for said games and simply put it, needed extra storage. Now I’m not tech savvy or anything and didn’t understand anything and did lots of research on which external hard drive would be better or at least just function well at the least—and WD settled the score for me! Thought the set up would be confusing was surprised at how easy it was. Had to look up how to use it granted, considering I know nothing of how anything works. But overall I believe so far it’s great! Lots of storage for my games and mod files, only gets a little hot and best part? The loading time for games is exactly the same, fast enough for the amount of mods I have in it! Gaming has never been better. It’s small as well so it’ll hardly take up any space wherever I store it. Package came a little screwed up but that didn’t break the drive. Overall, great compatibility so far and I believe it’s worth the money!

Don’t have to be ‘tech savvy’ - easy to use!
I picked this Elements based on the good reviews, and there were plenty of them!I just saved thousands of files from my 6 year old Windows laptop onto this Elements hard drive. Took just minutes to do it. Easy to move.I just plugged in the included cord to the Elements device, and the usb to my laptop, selected the file(s) I wanted to move, and then I moved them. You can copy them if you want to keep them on your computer, or you can move them and then delete the files you don’t want on your computer.This gave me peace of mind when I wanted to do some cleaning up on my old laptop. Now if I accidentally delete something I wasn’t supposed to, this Elements will have it all safe. I can transfer old photos to it, too.I have work files safely saved, and personal files safely saved. Now I can free up space on this old but reliable laptop.This elements is small and portable. It fits in my small hand—about 4-1/2 x 3 inches dimensions.Fast, easy, and you don’t have to be ‘tech savvy’ to use it. But don’t look to the instruction to help you—pretty much just a couple of photos to show you how to hook it up. But once you hook it up to your computer, you’ll easily figure it out.I didn’t have to format anything for my Windows laptop. I haven’t tried it on my Mac yet but when I do, I’ll come back if there was anything difficult or different I needed to do.Thanks for reading my review.

Works Well
Bought this to store videos recorded from over the air DVR. It works well. It is running 24/7 and at times can get busy when recording 4 shows at once. I haven't had any issues with it.
