Terricic and accurate
I have owner several Accu-Gauge tire pressure gauges before. They have all been durable and accurate over their entire life. This one is perfect because it is nice and small and fits easily in my Seat Bag beside a tire repair kit, tools and CO2 Inflator, first aid items, and an extra tube. It even hold the pressure reading until you press the release button. It is even available for both Schrader and Presta Tubes, both of which read up to 160 lbs. of pressure so they will even work for the high pressures of a road bike. The dial has both pounds and kPa pressures printed on it and is very readable..

Don't Care For
Barely okay. Bought both the presta and the schraeder gauges for different bikes. Do not like either one. I can get the schraeder gauge to work, although with a bit of a struggle each time. I cannot get the presta gauge to work at all. It's not the gauge portion that doesn't work; it's the fitting (head?). Removing the 'head' reveals that they simply put a short length of silicone hose in it, rather than a correctly sized o-ring to seal against the valve end. The hose seems to wobble and have difficulty creating a seal that will hold pressure (the presta gauge simply won't). I've used other gauges successfully for years (that have since worn out), so regardless of what the company might say, I really don't think it's me. There are surely better choices than this one. ps. I also don't like that you have to bleed air through the gauge to relieve excess pressure. Why not put a nub on the back side of the head to depress the valve core, as gauges have done for years?

Good Bike Gauge
Great size. Easy to use on a bike getting between the spokes. Seems to be fairly accurate. My only problem with the unit is the scale. Each tick mark equals 5psi of pressure, measuring up to 160psi. This is a trade off of being able to measure the high pressure of some tires. I have three bikes, two of which use around 90psi and one that I put in 48psi. I have the same brand unit for my car. It is a larger unit whose scale goes to 60psi in 1psi increments. The car unit though is very inconvenient to use on the bikes because of it's size. Overall I'm glad I have the smaller bike unit. It works and I can tell it's just short of 50psi on the scale so I know I'm getting just about the 48psi I'm looking for. I like the fact that it holds the pressure until you press the release button. This allows you to take the reading and then take the gauge and look closely at it's scale to read it. Its small size and weight are a plus for carrying it along on rides in my bike bag.

Easy to use and accurate.
I acquired one of these that was for a presta valve so I figured I would see if I could find the schrader version. These work really well and accurate. Easy read dial and easy to use. Not much else to say about it.

An excellent pressure gage!
This is a well made and accurate pressure gage for Schraeder tire valves. The primary market is for bicycle maintenance but I keep mine in the pickup to keep tabs on my truck tires and to check the inflation on my air bag suspension. I've had quite a few pressure gages - stick gages, plastic dial gages etc - and this one is the best I've had. The price may seem a bit steep but compare it's price to a quality stick gage and they are not much different. The dial goes up to 160 psi - not sure i'll ever push my pressures that high. To create a little more separation in the pressure gradations if the max pressure were, say, 120 psi it could be a little easier to see an exact pressure reading. I keep an Accu-Gage for Presta valves in my bike tool box, If you are trying to shave "grams" off of your road bike's weight don't stash one of these in your bike pack - made of brass and glass etc they are a touch heavy.

Didn’t last
My gauge lasted about 5 tire checks. Disappointed since it seemed well made. Must have gotten a bad one. It stopped registering the pressure!

Definitely don't buy for dual use on 30-40psi tires (car tires etc) as well as bike tires
This pressure gauge looks and feels sturdy and well-built. My bike has presta valves and I bought one presta for my bike (no complaints) and this Schrader valve one to carry it in my glove compartment and use on wagons, wheelbarrows etc that have this valve. I tried it on my car tires after it turned cold today and I got a warning light the tire pressure was low. All four tires said about 30lbs according to this gauge. I was puzzled because this shouldn't be low enough to set off a low pressure warning light when recommended pressure is 32psi. First of all, since this goes all the way up to 160lbs, realize it's not that easy to read the difference between 25 and 30 lbs (5 lbs is 1/8 inch or less distance on the face of the dial). Fortunately I also had one of those cheaper pen-shaped gauges and they said I only had 25-26 lbs pressure in each tire, the pen type stayed at the original reading on the tire pressure, and since it was designed for car tire pressures only it was easier to read. Fair enough, this was called a bike pressure gauge. My bad. Except about half the time the needle started dropping before I pushed the reset button, and that's why I give it two stars. It was about 32 degrees today and maybe this isn't a problem at the kind of temps when you'd actually be riding your bike. But I see at least a few other reviews mention the same problem, so check and see if they do or don't mention cold temps as a factor. Unfortunately most of the other tires I have with schrader valves on hose carts, garden carts, etc also are below 50psi. Bottom line, I have to say I wasn't super impressed with this one.

This is the best pressure gauge one can buy particularly for road bicycles since the amount of air contained in a bicycle tyre is so small that any loss of air during the measurement will affect the residual measurement itself. I have been using this gauge for a number of years now and I just purchased a second one in anticipation of the first one breaking down during my extended bicycle tours in Europe. The first one did not break down yet !!! There is also a "bleeding" feature to this gauge which you can only discover my chance since the "powers to be" are challenging the consumer's mind to figure this out !!!! Poor public policy. Excellent design and admirably excellent execution. Congratulations.
