Hubby wears these to work and also under his motorcycle helmet. They are cotton and not slippery. Definitely will be buying more.

I sweat profusely when playing tennis or doing yard work in the Florida heat. Sweat quickly saturates the baseball cap I usually wear in these endeavors, so I started wearing a bandana-type "do-rag" under my ball hat to soak up the excess sweat. I obtained several over the years, some with a terry-cloth sweatband sewn into the forehead portion, all in 100% cotton (poly blends do not absorb as well and are hotter). I picked them up at Harley Davidson dealers (you pay extra for any HD label) or welding supply stores (Tractor Supply, Northern Tool, etc.) I needed a few more, so I went on Amazon...MANY to choose from. I selected these for the design (skulls) and their 100% cotton composition. They are well constructed out of heavy cotton sheeting material, like the old time cotton bandanas. They are stiff at first, but will soften with repeated washings. No problems with color bleeding, etc. Only downside (hence 4 instead of 5 stars) is that they lack a terrycloth sweat band on the forehead side. I will probably take apart a terrycloth headband and have a section sewn into each do-rag. 4 to a pack and pretty cheap...I'm happy with them.

Purchase these for my other half who works in construction and is frequently in the sun and has had things removed off his head surgically and was told to keep the sun off of his scalp. He had purchased one or two single do rags off Amazon that like these were 100% cotton and he paid just as much for one as I did for this entire set. We’ve had them for a few weeks now, they get washed every day they get worn every day, and so far they have held up beautifully. At first, the wearer was a little freaked out by the patterns because he’s a simple man who likes simple things, but now that he’s grown a custom to the patterns and realizes that they don’t make him look like a clown he actually really likes them, and I think some of them look really good on him. They are not only used to keep the sun off his head, but sometimes they’re used underneath a welding helmet or a motorcycle helmet. The man person claims that they keep his head cooler than the poly blend rags. I’m not convinced of that, but if he’s happy, I’m happy. These were a good buy

Really too big for my head, but very well made. Nice colors.

My son is a welder in the Deep South and uses these under his welding hood. They're stretchy, breathable, and wash well. This is a great price for the variety of colors and the quality of the material.
