Trail Guide To The Body

Simple & easy to read for a non-practioner
This is a good quick-reference for those who suffer pain but may not have the means to see massage therapists or trigger-point specialists. It's a very simple and easy to read book and will be helpful in treating our "growing old" pains!

Great textbook!
One of my favourite textbooks I've used from being in an Occupational Therapist Assistant & Physiotherapist Assistant program. Very beneficial to students learning in-depth musculoskeletal anatomy. Easy to read and simple to understand; an excellent hands-on guide to locating and determining functions and movements of different muscles. The illustrations are wonderful, and overall the textbook is laid out very well. Strongly recommend it, along with the Trail Guide to the Body Student Workbook. Perfect combination!

Awesome book
I am doing an ITEC diploma in massage and have been struggling to remember all the muscles. I purchased this as has been told it was good and must admit it is more than good it's awesome. The pictures and write up are both clear and easy to follow, I also purchased the flashcards (vol 2) and use them in conjunction with each other. Now feel much more confident and hopefully will do well in my exam, I think our tutor should recommend this book at the start of the course but at least I have it now ready for when I am able to go on an do my sports massage course. I would say to anyone who is doing a hands on course which involves the muscles get this book, you won't be disappointed. Remember when watching the DVD it's in American which means that the names of the muscles are slightly different but the DVD is so interesting that it doesn't take much to forget that.
