This DVD puts you on the bike with eight different, exciting camera positions. With nearly 400 action shots, not only on the bike but also from trackside and high above the rider, you see correct and incorrect riding. Drawings, diagrams and computer animations and demonstrations bring your visualization of riding into a crystal clear understanding of cornering and braking. No one has taken more time and care in developing the cornering arts than California Superbike School Director Keith Code. "Ride for fun or ride for fame, cornering is still the name of the game," he says.DVD, 107 minutes'

Great but dated
Good video but the Twist of the Wrist II is so much better made and presents all the concepts again but with much better production value. Fun as a pair but if you want to buy just one, buy the second.

Good content but poorly produced
The information contained in the video is good. The info will be useful for new riders and people that are trying to focus more on how to corner. The one thing I wasn't happy about was the lack of instruction on how to do things better. They do a great job of telling you what to do and what not to do, but don't spend time on telling you how to do it. In lots of situations they tell you to figure out what works best for you. I thought the focus of the video should have been on teaching us what Keith knew and what he would do.As for the quality of the video it was poor. The video was shoot in the 80s and the production of the video is poor by today's standards. To say it needs updating is an understatement. All that being said you will learn how to be a better rider if you watch this video.

Quick shipping, very reputable seller...
Twist of the Wrist is a good DVD for performance riding. Love the cheesy acting. The point of this is I am happy with the seller.

Twist of the Wrist
This video was informative; but it was very dated. Circa early 1980s. I have subsequently taken a couple training courses which cover newer material and techniques. Not negating the TotW video; but buyers should be informed that the video is dated. It also lacks clarity and focus on a couple points in that the dramatization and attempts at "humor" obscure the technical points they are making. It is precisely what you should expect out of a 1980's motorcycle superbike training school that appears to have self produced a video for the first time.I paid ~$24 with shipping and think the video is worth about half that price.

If you read it and practice the techniques described it helps you become a better Rider. I also bought the cd and think both are excellent.

Not a very good DVD, would recommend buying the book instead.
This DVD is a bit dated and the book is far better. I thought the DVD would be better then the book as they'd be able to do good demonstrations and illustrations, but it was painfully slow to watch. The book: Twist of the Wrist: The Motorcycle Roadracers Handbook was better and I'd strongly recommend getting the book over the DVD. I'm a big fan of Keith Code though, but I don't think this is a good indication of his typical work. Twist of the Wrist: The Motorcycle Roadracers Handbook
