The story of Lam Sam is good for this Monkey Boxer is a legend. The techniques employed by Jack Man looks quite effective but the stance is too low exposting head attacks by opponents . Afterall it,s a good book about Kwongsai Chuck Lam Mantis Boxing !

This book contains the fundamentals of southern praying mantis kungfu; if you truly want to learn the system you will need the instructional DVD series by sifu Hagood and personal instruction. But this book will certainly help you to get an idea of this effective and authentic Chinese martial art and is an excellent reference explaining history, lineage and techniques.
