Great smell

Works super well, comparable to orange/pumice scrubs
We have been trying to move away from plastic waste in the house and seeking out more options like this that allow us to use products that we can put in refillable bottles and decrease the amount of waste. This wash is good, works to scrub off all items and scents. Removed dirt, motor oil, the smell of gasoline, and manure (compost gardening). It has a soft subtle smell scent and a mild exfoliation action that works to break up heavy stains, dirt, and oils. Leaves hands soft and clean

Smells like medicine
Love the idea and concept, but the scent is just too overwhelming for me. It smells like pain relief medicine and that is not the scent I like to wash my hands with. Other than that it’s a great product but scent is important to me.

We LOVE this hand wash!
Beast Blue hand wash has a lightly exfoliating texture that gets hands really clean. But our favorite part is the extraordinary scent! It's so minty and strong. Everyone that has used it has asked me what it is. I used to have the regular bottle of Beast Blue but disposed of it when empty. I recently got the matte black bottle from Beast but it jammed up from the fine lava in the soap. I had an empty pump bottle with a larger than usual pump that was designed for another product and it worked well. So be careful what you put it in. Or just buy the regular bottle and keep buying the refill. You'll find it addictive!

Smell is overpowering when you use it
This soap works well, but I wouldn’t get it again because of the smell - it is definitely exfoliating like it claims, and while it doesn’t really foam, it cleans well. I like that it comes in a refill pouch (I’m working under the assumption that it actually IS less plastic than a regular bottle would be); I did actually order Beast’s pump bottle which is 16 oz, and the whole bag of this soap fits in there so they work together well. As I mentioned, my husband and I just don’t like the smell. In the pouch / bottle, the smell is decent, but once you actually use it it is almost overpowering. Seriously, it makes both of our eyes water when we use only a single pump of it, and since I’m sensitive to mint smells in particular, it did end up giving me a migraine. I’m almost certain that this is just because of the menthol in it, since that and a comparatively light green tea scent are all we can smell. So just beware - the menthol smell is quite strong, but the soap does what it claims. Instead of using it as a hand soap, we’ll be using this slowly on our feet in the shower, as the bag suggests using it as an exfoliator in the shower.
