Qi Wireless Cell Phone Charging RECEIVER for SAMSUNG Galaxy S4

Installation was easy enough, and it charged OK for about 1 week. After that, it started a repeated cycle of connecting-charging-disconnecting-reconnecting etc. at various battery charge levels - even as low as 38%. Each time it connected and disconnected it gave the usual notification beeps - quite annoying when it happens a couple times every minute...I tried removing and reinstalling in the event of a contact problem, but no difference.Also, this thing is thick enough that it causes the back cover to bulge - so it doesn't lay flat anymore.I removed it and replaced it with Samsung's wireless charging cover that has the wireless charging function integrated into the cover itself. I have had zero trouble with Samsung's wireless charging cover. I also noticed that Samsung's cover has 4 contacts - not 2 as this cheaper receiver has. No idea what difference it may make.

This worked great in my S4. I removed the sticker on both sides and applied the chip to my battery cover. I added a small dab of super glue to make it stay perfectly in place. It adds a very very small bulge to the battery cover. I also own the OEM Samsung Qi battery cover which I used for a while before going back to my RBC Faux leather battery cover (which I think is the absolute best cover if you don't use a case) This chip works just as well as the oem cover. It charges my phone to 100% over night, every night. It does not get hot, slightly warm as with the oem cover too. I currently use an oem Samsung Qi pad also. I am very happy with this item.

These work great. Our Galaxy S4s now sport QI charging ability. The price is lower than other solutions but works just fine. Also, thin enough to continue using your stock cover and any cases you may have. It doesn't alter the size in a way that causes any issue with that. I would say there is no bulging at all, but if I look very carefully I can just barely notice a hint of it. Mind you, you have to really be looking for it to be noticeable. I'm glad I took a chance on these instead of opting for ones that are touted as ultra thin which cost twice as much.

It was only 12 bucks so I figured I would take a chance - Pop this in my S4 - Didn't even use the double sided tape piece, just laid it over the 2 contacts and snapped the back cover on - Placed it on the Nokia charging pad I use to charge my Nexus 7 - Boom! Wireless charging for my S4 - Now for the real test - Put my S4 back in my Otterbox Defender and Boom! Still charging. Now as an added bonus and final Boom! My Tectiles still work with my NFC!

I bought two of these for my mom and stepdad's S4s which are "Qi ready" from the factory. Since the OEM Qi equipped cover is quite a bit more expensive and adds bulk to the svelte phone's profile, I opted to try these. As expected, the do add some slight thickness to the phone overall, you can still use the OEM back cover. From there on out, they work as advertised. I use an LG Optimus G Pro with Qi capability built in and can honestly say that there is no difference in the charging from the S4's equipped with this product. Save your self the extra bucks if your phone didn't come with a Qi coil built in.

Every now and then (more often than not) my phone will stop charging, beep, and then notify me that it is charging again. I am not sure if it is because I have an Otterbox Commuter case, which may add interference. Most people have cases and it should be able to charge through it. The placement on the charging pad also seems to make a difference. Neat technology, but a pain so far.

I do recomended it works perfectly , however do not that your Galaxy S4 if it is under the 4.3 update it looses funtion with this product. On another note the Samsung Cop. has said that just take it to any Best buy with Galaxy / Samsung products and have your Galaxy updated to the new version 4.3 . they will do it for free.... Can't make charging much easier. Sit it on my nightstand at bedtime and it's fully charged in the morning. No cable to mess with, etc. The only minor quirk is that the thickness cause the back to bow slightly and makes it slightly more difficult to get tight fitting cases on. All in All, I love the wireless charging.
