Bought to cut up old roof slates. Copes adequately with the task but you need plenty of power for thicker slates.

The plastic grips are useless, but frankly unnecessary. They work better without them, just chuck them away they’ll come off anyway. Overall a budget pair of cutters that leave a perfectly traditional cut edge.

Don’t buy, twists when cutting tiles, if you need this for anything more than a quick diy job then it’s not for you.
