Lemon desserts are my favorite so I am quite picky about them. These cookies are amazing. Crisp, buttery cookie with chewy lemon filling (and delicious lemon, not that harsh Lemon Pledge note you often get in lemon cookies). They are individually wrapped, which seems excessive, but it probably contributes to the integrity of the cookie as they are quite fragile. None were broken. Also keeps them fresh. I was pleased to see they were not expired or close to expiration like many of the Amazon food products you get now. Quite a large bag of cookies, which pleasantly surprised me. I am so happy I got these! Such a treat.

I am obsessed with these. I was pleasantly surprised when I ate my first one and realized the entire bag would not be shared. I am on bag two. I am still on the fence whether I will share with my husband. Everything is just right with these cakes - texture, moisture, sweetness, taste of almond, size, shape, all just right.

Over all I think it's a good cookie. These individually wrapped cookies are soft and sweet. The tart crust is crumbly but is lacking much flavor other than sweet to me. The jam center definitely has a raspberry taste but its predominant flavor is sugar. Bonne Maman has a similar raspberry cookie tart you can get on Amazon that I prefer. Having critiqued Belgian Boys raspberry tart cookie I'm glad I tried them, they're good and I will have no problem finishing the bag.

I personally love that each butter cake is individually wrapped, none were open, and all tasted very fresh. Some products on Amazon are sold with an expiration date very close to purchase but this product had a far away expiration date which I really liked. Maybe two or three of the butter cakes were a little smushed but that didn’t matter to me since it tasted the same of course, and since it’s a moist cake it didn’t turn into a hundred crumbs. Overall I love this product I just wish it was a bit cheaper.

So the flavor of these is good and thats why I bought them. They taste like almond. However, these are made with almond flour as well (which I did not know) and that gave them a grainy texture. Fabulous choice if you have gluten issues because they do taste great and they are individually wrapped which is very convenient.

I was looking for a snack that I can handle given that I have a craving for sweets but some of them had way too much sugar or way too big. So this one was quite a surprise. It is really awesome to taste and the package was fresh. And if you just want to have a small snakc with your tea or coffee, it's the perfect size snack bite you can have and I felt it was immensely satisfying. Since you will be tempted to dive into more, I am just glad they are individually packaged so I can stop with one! I will order more but for now I need to pace myself.

This tiny little financier is just the right flavor and texture -- sweet but not overly so, almondy, and moist with a little bit of crispy texture on top. It's gone in about three or four bites. It's so cute. I carry a couple with me wherever I go, in case I get snackish when I'm out. I started off ordering these from Amazon, but now I order directly from the BB site, where they have a set of 48 cakes for $32. For free shipping though, I do end up getting more items, like their delectable Liege waffles, which rival these cakes in their yumminess!

These cookies are decadently delicious;, the flavour, the moisture, supremely wonderful, BUT the size is a problem. Entirely too small, petit fours are bigger. Why must you torture me with a great tasting cake-like cookie that's so small earing 6 barely makes a whole cookie....why??? For the cost, you should double the quantity of each bag. I don't get it, in for a penny out for a pound...whomever is making these 1/2 bite morsels, could easily make the size bigger. I am finally at a loss for words. Life as we know it becomes harder every day. Cookies should be above any of that, bring an aha moment to your palate and a smile to your heart, with a bite, never should they be, become how many can I unwrap in 10 seconds to achieve sensory satisfaction to my taste buds..so disappointing.
