I have no experience with nebulizers. After receiving this unit and reading (and interpreting) the instructions, I added some distilled water to try it out. As another reviewer mentions, the unit ran for about 2 seconds (with TWO, not three LEDS as stated in the manual), and then the LEDs flashed for about 4 seconds and the unit shut off. I ASSUME that the blinking LEDs mean "change the batteries" but the batteries were fresh, and I got the same result using (with the batteries removed) the included USB cable.After starting a return, I figured that if the unit is defective there was no harm in experimenting a bit to try to discover the source of the problem; it DID appear to work, just not as expected. At any rate, I added about 1/16th teaspoon of distilled white vinegar to the water, and that cured the problem!UPDATE: when I later tried to flush out the chamber with distilled water, I encountered the same issue. That led me to theorize that a small current is sent through the liquid to detect its presence, and distilled water just doesn't provide enough conductivity. To test this theory, I added two drops of saline, vinegar, or medicated nasal decongestant to the chamber filled with pure distilled water, and in each case the unit worked normally.The manual also states that holding the on button for 2 seconds starts a reduced-flow mode for children (50%), but although I have no way to measure the output, it does NOT appear that such mode is supported by this unit.Other than that, it appears to function as expected. The liquid reservoir is very small, and although easy to remove requires a bit of force to "click" back into position. The masks are very small and arrived almost folded, and appear to want to keep that shape. Maybe soaking them in hot water will restore their factory-molded shape, but they're so soft it isn't much of an issue.

Initially it worked well and had no issues. Now it stopped working on March 7th. Changed batteries left on charge overnight still didn't work. The light will come on but will not steam. Looked today to return and last date to return was March 9th. How ironic?

Cold moisture takes some getting used to helps congested area of pet. Less danger of problems as with hot steam but both methods have good points.

Being that this is portable - i did not have high expectations....this was a complete waste of time and money. My regular nebulizer died - and won't be available for a couple of days, my hope was to use this for a day or two, couldn't even use it once. I tried every option to make it work and when it would blow it was so light that it would have taken 2 hours, better off using rescue inhaler until my regular nebulizer arrives. At least they were quick to process the return of this and for that I am thankful

Convenient and small. Perfect for travel

Absolutely love this. I wish it had the adult and child settings like the other one I ordered. I use it for my Husband and nephew. It's helped save them both when we can't find the inhaler or when they need more than the inhaler. It's perfect for on the go. I bought this one and another. I take them both because they both have great qualities. I do love that they both have masks for adult and child.
