Glad I bought the version with the enclosed guide. Some of the wording is archaic and needs some modern day explanation but this is a seminal work and requires effort to read it properly to properly understand the thinking behind this genius.

This book is absolutely a must have for those passionate about Physics and those who want to better understand the roots of modern Mechanics and Astronomy. About half of the book is devoted to the Guide to the Principia, which includes valuable information and notes about the Principia itself.

Le livre est très beau et très agréable à lire. C'est incontestablement une pièce qui sera mise sur le devant de ma bibliothèque. Le guide (de 400 pages) qui précède l'œuvre de Newton est indispensable pour comprendre les Principia. Attention ! Ce livre a un format proche de celui d'un annuaire (quasi format A4 et 1.6kg)
