No regrets !
This speaker is Amaazing. I just returned my JBL extreme 4 speaker because it didn't have any input Jack's that I needed for class. The mic input and laptop is what I needed. Thus speaker is fantastic. The JBL sounds a bit nicer but this one will do the job for you for 120 dollars less. You can buy two of these for the overpriced one JBL speaker. Don't be dettered by its name. This baby can scream, loud and clear. I highly recommend this model.

Probably better sound than xtreme2
I did a lot of research and decided to pick this up on sale, after my JBL xtreme2 disappeared. Great purchase! And I honestly think this speaker sounds better overall and has fuller bass and more clear highs than my JBL did and for 1/3 of the price. If you are still deciding, here's your final review, you won't be let down.

Great bargain powerhouse for fellow bass face headbangers
The media could not be loaded. So far, this is a hell of a bargain. My JBL Xtreme 2 was ganked from my bike by a crackhead, so my rides have been lame. I typically only use JBL speakers, but couldn’t afford to get a new X2 and my clip 4 just… ain’t it. I’m tryna bother people with my racket, ya know? I’m a bit of a pessimist, so I didn’t have high hopes for this thing, to be honest. But it actually has some dang ol good oomph to it! Honestly a LOT more than I expected, much higher volume than my X2 for sure. Granted, it doesn’t have the same bass density as a JBL, and doesn’t hold a candle to a JBL boombox by any means. But for a Benjamin? I’m extremely satisfied. Plus, whereas I had to custom build a bracket for my X2 (that was typically theft proof until I took off a couple of components), this guy went on with just a handful of zip ties and a steel cable combination bike lock for good measure it looks really clean. Again, it’s not a JBL, so it doesn’t have the depth or the spatial ability my X2 had as it’s very much a forward facing sound throw, but it is powerful enough to where I had a group of bassheads going HAM on my ride home. I had to swing back around and give him another drop. As long as it lasts for longer than six months, it’s definitely worth the money.

Big sound but with some limitations
There's an outdoor area that I go to for practicing roller skating. I wanted to get a bluetooth boom box for playing music while I was there. It just makes the experience a lot better. So I decided to get this W-King D10 and try it out.My first impression was that it exceeded my expectations on loudness and bass. This much volume and bass should not be coming from such a small device. And the quality of the audio? Above average. Not quite at the level of, say, a home theater system using full standing speakers or something. But you get a very nice sound, not flat, not muffled. It's clear. It's not quite as crisp as I would really want. But it's very good. And for the size of the device and the cost? Amazing. It's well worth the price. The size of this is very small compared to the amount of volume you get out of it. It's smaller than I expected. I think the product images make it look bigger. This is something that doesn't weigh a lot. You can easily take this anywhere. It's not like the 1980's where people had these huge boom boxes they carried on their shoulders. This would be laughed at back then, because it's so small. And yet, it might be just as loud. Now, there are some limitations. This has only two equalizer settings. One has more bass, the other more mid-range. And that's it. But I do find that's all I really need. I think that's all most people care about. The high bass setting tends to muffle the mid-range too much, though. It's fine if you have a song that showcases bass sounds, but for most everything else, I think use the other setting instead. So basically, you have one equalizer setting you'll actually use. That's all you get. And that's good enough for most people. If you're the type that wants to tweak the sound to perfection, nope. This isn't your device. This is for people who just want to play their music and not have to think about it. It's as simple as you can get, because you have no other choice. What about the analog microphone input? Well, I had a chance to try that out, because I have a karaoke machine at home that I sometimes use. I plugged in the microphone to the mic input port in the back of the W-King D10, and I was not happy with the result. It turns out there's really no way of dialing down the strong reverb/echo that's on the microphone by default. You can get another version of the W-King D10 that comes bundled with a wireless microphone, instead. And that wireless microphone has a dedicated "echo" slider on it. Aha! So only with that particular wireless microphone are you able to dial down the echo/reverb effect. Otherwise, with the plug-in microphone, it sounds like you're in a cave. It's way too much echo/reverb. I wouldn't use it at all for anything. It's totally worthless for karaoke or even public address. It's comically strong.Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a way of buying a wireless microphone for this. You need to buy the W-King D10 that comes bundled with the wireless microphone, instead. That is, if you care about karaoke or public address. I tried a wireless microphone that I had laying around from my karaoke machine, and it did not pair with the W-King D10. So I'm thinking you have to go to W-King and ask them to sell you one. But their web site doesn't show it as a product that they sell separately. So as far as I can tell, you can't purchase a separate wireless microphone. That means this is useless for karaoke or for public address, because the plug-in microphone has way too much echo/reverb and no way of turning it off. Now, I tried this out as a bluetooth speaker for my TV. I wanted to see if it would pass as an alternative to a home theater speaker system. Like a soundbar. To my surprise, it did exceptionally well at this. It fills the room easily with high volume sound. I have it at volume level 30%, and that's loud enough to fill a 16 foot by 16 foot room. And it's nice on the ears, so long as you don't use the bass equalizer setting. If you're looking for a decent soundbar, this is not bad! I have a cheap soundbar, and this is much better than that. The only problem is, it runs on battery. You wish you could just plug it in and have it run on main power, instead, but it doesn't work that way. So for a TV soundbar, it's not a great solution. There was just one issue when I used it as a bluetooth speaker for my TV. The lights. You can turn off the speaker lights. But you can't turn off the blinking blue LED and the three solid white LED lights. If you're like me, you turn the lights off in the room when watching your TV. It just makes for a nice theater-like experience. So having those tiny LED lights still on, it is a little annoying. You can't turn them off. The best you can do is cover them with black tape or foil. Easy enough to do, but annoying that you have to do that.Lastly, there's a W-King app that's in the Apple App Store. I installed it on my iPhone. It's free. But it only supports the W-King D20 and a few other of their higher end products. It doesn't support the D10. It won't even pair with it. So that's useless. I was hoping it would allow me to adjust the microphone input echo/reverb amount as well as the equalizer settings. It's so weird that those two features are not available in any way, shape, or form. Everyone has an app for their soundbars and other bluetooth speakers these days. Come on, W-King! Support the D10 with your app.So it lost a star in my review for the lack of that functionality. If the app worked with the D10 and allowed for those two adjustments, I would give it 5 stars. You also have the option to buy a second one of these and pair them together. So instead of 70W, you get up to 140W of sound. Not bad. I could definitely see how that would make a backyard party really boom. One is good enough, but two would be quite a loud event. I've not tried that feature, and I don't plan to buy a second one. That's a big investment for something that lacks those two basic features that I mentioned. I would probably look to more expensive, standing speakers if I was starting to really get into sound systems for backyard parties and such. I plan on using the D10 only to take with me to different places and to use for occasional, low key backyard get-togethers.This product is for someone who wants a really loud sound with good bass on the go somewhere. It's not for audiophiles who want to make adjustments to the sound or who really care about the quality of the sound. It's for people who need "good enough" sound quality as a compromise for getting it at a good price. It's not for karaoke. It's not for public address. It can be used on occasion for a home theater, but probably not as a dedicated speaker for that since it's run on battery power. It's for small or mid-sized backyard parties. It's for playing music while you workout, indoors or outdoors. Or while you're playing sports. Or tailgating. Or swimming. Or kids' birthday parties.Definitely worth the price, but with those limitations.
