Excellent grill brush, the bristles are so firm and do not bend, they pluck any pasted drippings on the grates. It does a fantastic job of scrubbing the grates of stuck on stuff. The bristles are nylon so just be warned not to use this brush on a warm/hot grill. These bristles are tough but not heat resistant. FIVE stars all the way!

I got this for my new grill with ceramic grates. Brushing the grates while the grill is cold takes some getting used to. I preheated the grill once or twice and then remembered that this brush is meant to be used cold. Thankfully I did so before I actually used it. It works well if you use it as directed. When you're done cooking just turn the burners up to full temp and let the grill go for 10-15 minutes to char all the gunk on the grates. Then turn it off and let them cool. Then just hit the grates with the brush before you fire it up the next time. It takes off 90% of the crust and what's left on there at least isn't sticky or chunky or gross. It also doesn't wear down the grates like a metal brush and you don't have to worry about metal bristles coming off and getting in your food.

This is exactly what I needed for my new Kettleman grill, which has a porcelain-coated grate. Those wire bristle brushes would have ruined it in no time - plus have you seen the horror stories lately on the news where people have accidentally swallowed small bits of those wire bristles and required emergency surgery? This nylon brush cleans the grate just as easily if you let most of the crud burn off as the charcoals die down. Just wait until the grill cools off, common sense should tell you that nylon will melt. Besides, there are warnings all over the packaging this comes in that nylon melts!

it takes me about 10-15 seconds to use a metal brush to remove everything on my grill surfaces. This nylon brush can barely remove the crud stuck on and often can't get the tougher stuff. I was scrubbing for 5 minutes and still had to resort to the metal brush to get the stubborn stuff off. I'm keeping this in the trash now where it belongs

I use this primarily for safety reasons. Don’t want any loose wires around, which can happen more than I’d like to see. I grill a lot so wanted something that can get the job done while being safer and this brush provides that. Definitely recommend.

I was at a cookout and felt something in my mouth while eating a burger. Sure enough it was a steel wire from my friends cleaning brush. I got very lucky it never made it down. My throat. So I decided I'm tossing my steel wire brush as soon as I get home. Just remember let the grill cool down before using.

This bbq brush melted on the first use and now is ineffective.I would not recommend it at all
