Ocean Star GMT - Swiss Automatic Watch for Men - 44mm Stainless Steel Case with Rotating Bezel

This watch is amazing. It's probably the best value in a true GMT watch in the marketplace. It's beautiful, super precise (within 2-3 seconds per day), and it's a true GMT, and also a true diving watch with 200m of water resistance and a screw down crown. The fact that the chapter ring has a 24 hour markers, and the bezel has 60 minute markers means this bad boy remains a viable diving watch as well as a full fledged GMT timepiece. The metal bracelet from MIDO is probably my favorite metal bracelet out there, certainly better that the Rolex bracelets with on-the-go adjustments. Go buy one, they're great!

Keeps time like a Quartz. Awesome quality fit & finish. There is nothing wrong with MIDO. Has the real GMT movement and works great. This is the most accurate Automatic watch I have ever owned.

This is an amazing GMT watch for the price. True flyer GMT worked great traveling to Puerto Rico over the holidays. Great daily wear. I have it on a leather strap for the office and switch over to rubber for the snorkeling and the beach. The bracelet is really nice with a dive extension. Gorgeous watch. Only issue is I wish the hands weren't skeleton because it limits the amount of lumen. Size is comfortable on my 7 in wrist. Short downward turned lugs make it a comfortable wear.

Purchased this watch April 2023. Worked perfectly for about 6 months then started having issues with the hour hand falling behind. Contacted Nayla US and they had me send it back for warranty work. It took about 14 weeks to turn around. After receiving the watch back it did work perfectly for a couple weeks before failing again for the exact same issue. Contacted MIDO directly via email and they had me fill out their service form and send in for warranty work again. I just got the watch back from MIDO yesterday and the hour hand is once again falling behind several hours in just the first day having it back. Now it’s out of warranty. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience to say the least. I plan on contacting MIDO by phone to see what they say about it. Hopefully I can get them to take it back a third time and get it right.

This watch stopped working 14 months after purchase. I wore it maybe once a month. Never got it wet or wore during any demanding physical activity. Have requested warranty/service information from manufacturer. Amazon's AI/robot customer service makes no sense what so ever.

Nice watch but you get no warranty from Mido or certificate of authenticity if bought through Amazon. Also it’s started fogging up. Amazon are no help whatsoever.

Hace mucho que busco un reloj de buceo con funcionalidad GMT de viajero con ajuste de manecilla horaria independiente. Encontré éste a un precio más que atractivo y plazo de pago gratuito gracias a Amazon Prime. Funciona exactamente como lo esperaba, con una manecilla de 24 horas que muestra la hora de mi lugar de vivienda y una manecilla horaria que se puede ajustar independientemente adelante y atrás sin alterar los minutos y segundos. Como la mayoría de los cronógrafos suizos el segundero se puede detener para sincronizar con una señal horaria y el calibre automático ETA 80 que comparten varios de los relojes más finos del mundo tiene fama de ser muy preciso. Lo acabo de estrenar y no puedo hablar aún de su exactitud pero anticipo un +/- 5" por día ya que trae su certificado de exactitud. Mido es una marca que ha tenido una gran aceptación en México por su estanqueidad y precisión pero a mí no me gustaban sus diseños --que me parecían aburridos, si bien elegantes. Este goza de una apariencia moderna, fuerte y al mismo tiempo elegante y fina. El bisel de acero y cerámica --similar al de un Rolex Submariner- promete años de conservación libre de ralladuras y abrasión. La correa sintética, muy moderna, está forrada en una gamuza sintética que la hace confortable al instante. La carátula tiene un SuperLuminova muy brillante que la hace super legible y el diseño de las agujas y marcas horarias permite ubicarlas sin equivocación; aún el segundero. Ahora solo buscaré una correa apropiada para el buceo (NATO probablemente) y una pulsera de acero que tenga un diseño compatible. Muy complacido con la compra; en un año reportaré la experiencia de largo plazo. *** A casi un año de uso *** Como comenté arriba, busqué y adquirí la correa NATO y la pulsera de acero inoxidable. Ambas muy bien hechas y que hacen muy versátil el reloj. Problemas: la NATO rayó la parte de atrás del reloj, donde se encuentra el diagrama de husos horarios, posiblemente por fricción. Esto no es un problema de la correa, sino de la resistencia a la abrasión del material usado. La pulsera se ha rayado también en las partes pulidas. No es importante (para mí) ya que cuento con un pulidor estacionario y también un Dremel. Problema de funcionamiento: la manecilla horaria a veces falla en ser arrastrada correctamente y marca una hora atrás. Esto sucede durante la noche y no todo el tiempo. Creo que tiene que ver con el pequeño juego de la misma, dependiendo si se deja ajustada hacia adelante o hacia atrás. He pedido una caja de envío gratuito al centro técnico y la estoy esperando. Exactitud: El reloj mecánico más exacto que he tenido con una desviación de entre 1 y 2 segundos por día. Observen la gráfica de exactitud por el Watch Accuracy Meter (Android, última foto). Uso diário: Muy práctico. El bisel gira con facilidad pero firmeza; el lume, aunque no el más brillante que conozco, tiene retención de luz suficiente para dos o tres horas.
