Good product
Good product and kept the foxes and cats away for most of the time, but water did eventually get in to the product and so shut the unit down completely

Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't...
There seems to be less pigeons pooping on my decking, but Ive also been cutting a few branches so hard to say which one. Sometimes I aim it directly at the pigeons in the tree, and they don't treally give a hoot...

Absolute rubbish
This item is not as described. It's not ultrasonic - it emits a loud grating noise, and the light doesn't work. The motion detector picks up a van at 40ft, and a human up to 15ft, but my neighbour's cats just sit and look at it. Worthless piece of rubbish. If I could give it no stars I would.

Most people can hear the sound that this emits.
While foxes ( in my case) may be put off, humans and dogs will be more put off, because it is not untilyou turn on the ultrasonic animal deterrent, that you realise this sound is audible to everyone... including your neighbours... who will eventually tell you to turn it off. There are two settings you need to optimize this product, but now that I can only use one, it will only be 50% useable or 50% optimized. The fact that a human can hear the ultrasonic sounds should have been mentioned in the description, rather than in the brouchure.

Worth It
Having wasted money over the years with cheap repellers from B&Q and Homebase, took a chance on this, and indeed it works. Had a chronic fox problem, and this has taken care of it. The unit is sturdy and although a bit large and boxy, it seems well made. Have only used it in ultrasonic mode, not the flashing strobe. Solar panel seems to work easy enough even on cloudy days. Weather proofing seems adequate - rubber seal inside the hinged cover should keep rain out. Did not use the ground spike - just strapped it to a fencepost in the garden.

Seems to work!
Hard to tell for sure cos we’ve tried a few things to deter the foxes, but this seems to work! No more mess or digging in the lawn. Had to set it to no.4 though which is the flashing lights as well. Let’s see!Edit: been a few weeks now and tbh it’s mixed. We use it more now as an alarm that tells us if a fox is in the garden. I think the fox now associates the noise with me coming out to chase it away more than it’s scared of the device! Also, it rather annoyingly has to be switched off during the day as it motion detects even in daylight (no food if walking in the garden) and also sunlight sets it off repeatedly during the day. I’ve downgraded my score.
