As I read the reviews, after buying this, having so low stars, I prepare myself to make them work. I clean the threads from paint, and make sure all bolts go easy, lube them, before installing them.The results... nice fit and result. They strong enough for what it was made for.Fit snog between handles and brake & clutch. Make sure u don't pinch cables while installing them.

Stripped the first bolt trying to get the guard on the bracket

These are the absolute worst hand guards I’ve ever encountered. I’m on my second pair (both unused) and we haven’t even been able to get past installation. The hardware that comes with them is weak/flimsy. The first pair I bought, the screw broke in half while I was hand tightening them. I reported it and ordered a replacement…. Tell me why it happened again! Don’t waste your time, effort or money on this crap. Spend a little more money and get some of quality.

Cheap cheap metal

Returned these and bought some from cycle gear. These were missing bolts as well as had a stripped bolt in it already. It’s a pass from me.
