Does what you need it to do. Stays put but easy to get up with no residue.

We use this for everything! My best use is on our new carpet. We bought scrap linoleum and taped it neatly in front of our entrance door. There is no space for linoleum install, and the door does not clear an additional mat when you step in. It rains every day where we live, and we live amongst conifer trees, so we are always tracking in wet fir needles. The lino by the door protects the carpet. The gaffer tape keeps it in place. Every time I test pulling up a corner it removes cleanly from the carpet fibers. There is a lot on the roll, it's a good quality, and it has lots of uses- especially uses where duct tape in inappropriate for whatever reason- mostly removability. If you stick it to itself- game over. But from other things it removes very well! More durable than masking tape and the adhesive doesn't seem to break down or separate from the cloth backing. It does not remove well from copy paper.

I have used the wider version of this tape for several years and always have excellent results. This time, I needed a 1” wide version. Like the wider Tape, this behaves like Duct tape without the gluey residues. Tape works well HOT, Cold, wet, etc. Overall, just an excellent / easily removable tape that leaves no residue when removed.

It's better than I expected. It works great for Astronomy!

It is thicker than the black construction book tape I have used in the past. It does work ok. Doesn't tear as easy as I wish it would. I use it to go around the edges of the chipboard when I make my junk journals.I would buy again when needed.

There is a reason musicians and the entertainment industry loves gaffers tape. This stuff sticks strong and then also easily pulls off with no residue when you're done with it! I love it for many things, such as labeling equipment, taping down cables to avoid tripping, keeping things from opening, it's the best stage tape no doubt. A necessity in every tech box.

I used this 1" gaffers tape on foam pipe insulation which is wrapped around my tripod legs. So far it's sticking very well. I can't speak for residue free when removed though.

I love this tape. It's strong and sticks to everything just like the description says. Always great to have some gaf tape around when you need it.Note the adhesive is a grey-ish color, not black.
