The Gallery (A Contemporary Reverse Harem Romance)

I loved the storyline. I love the characters and I felt like I was there with them. I have fallen in love with the harem books.

Avril thought she was happily married but she learns that her husband is having an affair and leaving her at a Hampton's garden party of all places. When he cuts her off she loses more than just the money and her driver. She loses all of her so-called friends. But she still has her beloved Art gallery and her gay bestie, Blu. Blu is her constant support, available for a shoulder to cry on or retail therapy. As a partner in an exclusive party business, Blu also offers Avril a new source of income by having her host the parties at her art gallery. For Avril, it's lucrative and eye-opening. And best of all are the other partners; Sumner, Ash, Chase, and Gio, all sexy, powerful, and wanting to share.The Gallery is the best sort of distraction for a summer read. Quick, entertaining, hot. Satisfying on many levels. Living a happy, sexed-up life with a gorgeous harem of men and spending time with an awesome bestie is the best revenge a woman can possibly get on a cheating ex. Love that Devon got what he deserved. My only complaint is that I wanted to see the downfall of a certain back-stabbing assistant!

While some reverse haram stories are all about the sex, I am happy to say this one is full of wonderful characters and a detailed story. The sex is pretty impressive also. This is a sweet and heartfelt story that just goes to show how love is infinite and gracious. The author does a stunning job of melding the characters and story without becoming a porn writer. It's truly a work of art.

As is obvious from many of my reviews, I like porn. Hot naked guys? The more the merrier. The cover and magical words 'reverse harem' had my attention on this book.Some suspension of disbelief is required for the plot - a group of men running sex parties blends with a woman estranged from her cheating criminal of a husband. The sex parties involve soft, cushy, luxury furniture with no feasible way to actually sanitize it post party. (I know, I picked the wrong part to fixate on, but ick). Said parties run under the name Kink Lab, yet there's no lab (mad scientist role-playing, rawr) and little kink other than exhibitionism and threesomes. The leading lady goes back and forth between yes and no for added drama that's somewhat annoying.The sex scenes - one woman with between one and four men - are enticing and fun, which is typically more the point of this sort of book than the plot. An example: "Later, I lay on Chase’s bed between the two guys, their magnificent nakedness shiny with perspiration in the light thrown by the bedside lamp. Their breathing had slowed, as had my heartbeat, and the room smelled slightly like my perfume, and a lot like the sex of people healing from wounds that might someday close."

What a nightmare this girls is going through. Her ex dumped her and is being charged with some serious crimes, but she’s finding that there are four others that are truly interested in her and have a fun way of getting to know her better.

I really enjoyed this book. It let the woman who was cheated on get the sweetest revenge. It has lots of action and the heat will have you wishing you could be the lucky woman. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a reverse harem with heat.

I enjoyed the book tremendously. The men were hot and blu was a true friend. Their was a lot of truth in the story and if I found just two men like them let alone one, I would be in heaven!

Mika Lane had done it again.Writing a book to get you so involved with the characters. I couldn't stop reading this last night until I passed out from being so tired I couldn't stay awake any longer but as soon as I opened my eyes this morning I had to finish it.This is another great story of how a woman find love with 4 amazing guys. There were tears, love, hot scenes and so much drama.

This Story is humorous and fun with lots of twists and turns but eventually they become a brilliant team. The kink club is a unique interesting adventure. The guys really did need to sort out a driver for their girl too... Smith part in the story is sorta sad since they don't really seem to like him much... I was expecting him to be a bit creepy but then he meets a shocking end. It was a very good story I couldn't put down... Read it in one night.

This was a fun and entertaining read. There are a few sadder moments in the story, but also humorous ones as well. The storyline flowed and was engaging, the characters well developed and likeable.The story is told from alternate POVs for all 5 main characters. It starts with Avril searching for her husband at a party, realising that something is going on when she can't find him, and other guests all seem to know something she doesn't. All is revealed when she returns home to find him gone, a note left, and puts 2 and 2 together when her assistant resigns and disappears immediately as well. To make matters worse, her bankaccounts have been wiped of all but a grand, and all of her cards cut off and other items such as her driver, cancelled as well. Struggling financially, her gay bestie Blu has a proposition for her that will not only help her, but bring 4 amazing men into her life.I loved how good a friend Blu was, and how the 4 guys, Gio, Chase, Sumner and Ash, treated Avril from the get-go, shunning her ex before they even knew her for his dodgy business practices.Their journey was sweet, their chemistry palpable, and the friendship they all developed beautiful. The epilogue was perfect to round out the ending, and while I know it is the end, this is one if those books that I would gladly read a sequel to.

I enjoyed this book but felt it was over too quick.
