Even Better than My Original Pairs
My old pair of bars lasted a solid ten years of constant gigging. I broke one. Important point here ... *I* broke it. The keyboard would never have broken it or fallen, and if I ate less food, the bar probably would have survived. I’m no little fellow and tripped over a cord while setting up. I caught myself on the bar and it snapped under my weight. MOST IMPORTANTLY - no one saw my rookie, klutz move, and the bar saved me from falling before sacrificing itself for my ego.The new bars are great. Better and thicker grip pads than my original pairs.I don’t love gear, but I LOVE this stand. I even bought a second one 5 years ago, just in case this one ever broke. It hasn’t.

18 inch Arms
I had to slightly file a bump and each arm to fit into the clamp. Works perfectlyArms looked new

They kinda fit…
If you have an early model USS, these brackets do not directly fit because they added a bump to the middle of the connecting end. It was an easy fix with a Dremel tool to remove that center hard plastic ridge and it sat in perfectly and hold the Jupiter-X without issue and room to spare.

Needs low profile wheels
Great until you have to move it when it is set up. I'm trying to find low profile casters but so far no joy.

Be prepared for a design change.
I recently purchased the Korg Kross. This keyboard is wider than my previous keyboards, so it wobbled on the stock arms that come with the Ultimate Support stand, making it unusable for gigs. The 18" extension arms worked perfectly in supporting this keyboard. A note to customers: I felt it was a little underhanded for the company to change the design of the keyboard arm just a little, making it unusable with the existing bracket. I was at a gig and needed the arm right then and there, so I was miffed when I opened the package and found that the arm would not fit into the stock bracket because the company made this tiny change in the design; their goal being for you to have to buy new brackets along with the extension arms, too. This ticked me off and I had a show to do, so using my serrated field knife, I honed off the small strip of plastic that was preventing the arm from going into my dated stand's brackets. After a little shaving work, the arm fit into the bracket perfectly and the show went on. Be aware of this if you have an old Ultimate stand. I don't know if their newer stands have brackets that accept these longer arms, but if not, a sharp knife can take care of the problem in minutes.
