A sturdy masher, what else do you need?

Bought this as the one we had previously broke, and we could not see one anywhere in shops, good job Amazon had one as a good price.

The nylon material bends quite a bit, so you can't really put a lot on the spoon, or stir things like rice or mincemeat easily.

I love this well made and perfectly shaped potato masher. It is a very unusual shape and mashes the potatoes perfectly. I am very pleased I bought this particular potato masher.

You can't hold the stem it's too flimsy. I made do by holding it a little further down but it's inconvenient

Bought this masher after the expensive, all stainless steel one I bought buckled and snapped after a handful of uses.This one was decently priced and looks pretty good however it’s really a pain to clean. You scrub and wash it and then leave it to drain only to discover it’s still filthy. Repeat the process and it’s still needs a third scrub.I’ve only used it about 6 times. Functionality seems ok but it’s not the easiest to exert pressure and when you do it feels as if the plastic masher part might come apart.
