The pictures show the mattress within a couple hours of opening, so it wasn't all the way decompressed in the pictures. However, even at that it was so soft and comfortable. He LOVED it. Really a great investment. I got the less expensive version, I just didn't see much difference. It's very nice. The cover goes over the whole mattress and is soft. It's a really good deal for the quality. You get what you pay for. We were looking at some cheaper spring ones, but you spend a lot of time in bed. I want his to be as comfortable or more so than mine. I want him to lay in it and feel supported, without things digging in his back. I don't want to set him up for spine issues later in life because I wanted to save a few bucks. I would sleep on this. It's very, very nice. I'd highly recommend it. The nice thing about the cover is I have one just like it. They're awesome, easy to wash and don't hold smells. When he flops into his bed, or is moving I his sleep, I can't hear it on the quiet material of the mattress. And again, it's the perfect firmness. It isnt too hard, it's nice and soft, but offers support and a solid sleeping surface. He slept in his new bed for longer than he usually sleeps. That says to me he is very comfortable, and I feel very good about my choice.

This mattress is amazing! It is so firm and sturdy, but also so soft all at the same time. I’m surprised at the awesome quality.. for this price point I wasn’t expecting that. My only comment (and this is me being picky) is that it definitely took longer than it said it would to inflate. We had to give it a full week or so before it took shape! Other than that, we have had zero issues and are super happy with it! Fits the crib well and my daughter sleeps through the night on it.. what more can you ask for 🙂

Fit toddler bed perfectly, soft, and comfortable but almost a little too firm for a toddler, but since my little guy is 12 months it will do. I was a bit worried when I opened it that it wasn’t going to inflate completely, so I took it out of the cover and let it inflate for two or three days before using and it still wasn’t completely inflated in the corners. I did make sure that the room was warm to help it and using it actually helped it puff up more. It keeps its shape and looks nice. This mattress also makes zero noise which is exactly what I was looking for. I think this was a good purchase for the price considering a lot of toddler mattresses cost over $100 and I wasn’t willing to spend that much for one that I’m only going to use for probably a year and a half.

This mattress is so firm yet soft! It only took 2 days to fully inflate but it fits our normal sized crib perfectly, I don’t have to worry about any gaps! My husband and I were wanting to sleep on it ourselves it seems so comfy. I was worried about my daughter sleeping on it(she usually sleeps 12 hours at 3 months old) but transferring her to this from the bassinet was no different. She has slept the same if not better on this mattress! She used to move herself down so much in the bassinet but on this mattress she doesn’t move near as much which tells me she is sleeping better.

We purchased the crib mattress 4 months ago and i was concerned about how it would expand because it sat in the box for so long. Immediately out of the box one side was larger than the other but 24 hours later it was expanded and even across the whole thing. We did let it expand for a few more days before putting it in the crib and it fit perfectly into a standard size crib. It is great quality for the price and it doesnt make any noise at all when pushing on it. The firmness feels perfect for infants and i dont have any concern for how it will hold up

I really like the mattress. Its great quality, soft, and seems comfortable. I gave 4 stars because even after a week, the mattress never fully laid flat nor "inflated" evenly all the way across.

Fits perfectly in a standard sized crib. The mattress is soft, but not so soft that baby/toddler will sink in enough for SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) to be a concern. The toddler using this sleeps more soundly and deeply now and wakes up less frequently at night now.

This crib mattress is exactly what I was looking for. It’s firm enough for safety but still comfortable for my baby. The waterproof cover makes cleaning super easy, and it doesn’t lose shape after use. I feel confident knowing my little one is sleeping on a good-quality mattress.

Mattress is firm but comfy very good quality fabric and cover or it it does take up to 12 hours to puff up but it’s great thank you amazon out did your selves again

We bought this mattress for our toddler and must say, we are not disappointed with our decision. I was so confused with all the variety available in the market and just went with guts to buy this mattress. This is absolutely wonderful and fits well on toddler’s bed. He loves to sleep in his bed. The mattress expanded to its size within one day after unpacking it. It’s very light weight too so makes my life easy when it comes to changing bedsheets. I am glad that we bought this mattress.

The mattress i kept for 4 days and it expanded uneven . Was 4 inches on one side and 4.5 on one end. I do not recommend this.
