The media could not be loaded.  the moisturizer itself is great, perfect for my sensitive normal skin. But the twisty pattern to tighten the cap of the bottle broke. Not really sure how this happened as this never happened to me before with any other twist cap packagings.

This Jumiso Snail EX Ultimate Boost Facial essence is a really nice serum. It has some of my top "FIX IT" ingredients. It has Snail Mucin, Hyaluronic Acid, and Adenosine. These are super performing antioxidants, anti-aging, and deeply hydrating ingredients. They also help to produce collagen, which helps improve elasticity, and firmness. I need all of this!It is easily applied, has very little, if any, fragrance, and makes my skin feel wonderful. Of course, I always use a toner before, and moisturizer afterwards, which takes away any light tackiness. This serum really amps up my skincare routine.This serum works great, and I love all the skin loving and anti-aging ingredients. Ok so this isn’t my first snail product, but I only recently tried a snail secretion under eye cream by a different brand and since I did see immediate visible results I thought I’d try this one out, too.I lived in Japan and am well aware of the reputation of Koran skincare products (my agency in NYC also represented some of the top Korean brands). The packaging on the back is written in Korean.That said, the idea of snail goo on my face is hard to overcome. It’s sort of a shocking ingredient I think most Americans would stick up their noses at, especially vegans maybe.But the idea this would help the skin retain moisture makes sense and doesn’t seem that different than, say lanolin. It’s sort of snot like in consistency (weird) and sort of like aloe Vera gel maybe.I have sensitive combination skin though so I probably wouldn’t use this in the t-zone, more like on dry skin in the winter or on cheeks. I’m not sure if this is non comedogenic or not. I would also probably feel fine on using this on the décolletage or back of hands.It’s hilarious because my father used to tease me as a kid about having “snail tracks” on my face from drooling at night. The joke is on me then and now.People allergic to shellfish might want to steer clear of this and everyone in general may wish to test this on the inside of the arm first before using it on the face.That said, I found this product unusable simply because it did not have any kind of safety seal which I would think is required for products here in the US. It also appeared that there were fingerprints or palm prints on the black lid so my personal opinion is that this product had been returned. I was so turned off by this that I plan to throw it straight into the trash. Gross.

This is my first time using a snail mucin product so I didn’t know what to expect. It has a sort of viscous, gel-like texture. It does spread but you have to make sure you spread it around well quickly because it absorbs fast. One pump is enough for my face. Once it absorbs, it’s not sticky at all which is fantastic. I think applying to damp skin helps it absorb and spread well. I use this after toner and before other serums. I haven’t been using long enough to judge long-term effects, but for now I like that it makes my skin seem hydrated and bouncy, and ready for other products. I think it helps even out my skin/texture. It doesn’t irritate my skin at all which is important for my sensitive skin. I enjoy using this and glad to have finally added snail mucin to my lineup.

I only just discovered this brand and I absolutely love it!! First I tried their Waterfull Toner and I was sold but now this snail essence product and I knownI’m never going back I stop using this stuff! Look, I only just got into trying to take care of my skin outside of washing my face with a wash cloth wet with water and spreading on some Vaseline to keep my skin from drying out. I also have sensitive skin so anything with heavy perfumes tends to cause irritation.This stuff has no scent and has a tacky consistency but not slimy. I’m not surprised this product has snail secretions in it and I can’t believe I decided to put something that contains it in my face but I’ve been doing that at least once, but typically twice a day for a few weeks now and I love how my skin looks now!! I mean don’t get me wrong, I actually have 5 products that Input on my face. A wash, a toner, an eye cream, this stuff, and moisturizing cream and this in combination with my other products has been spectacular. I’ve tried them all individually but it’s the combination of them together that has proven to work wonders for me.This is a clear, scent free gel that goes on well and absorbs nicely into the skin. It doesn’t leave a sticky or tacky feeling in my skin and my skin has gotten so much softer and more even in skin tone since adding this to my skin care routine. I don k ow if it’s just that any snail essence will do or it’s the combo of what is in this specific product but I absolutely love this stuff and I will continue using it.
