SprayMax 3680065 2K Matte Clear Coat 400 ml (2 Pack)

I used the Spray Max on a fiberglass rock guard on a camping trailer. The fiberglass was looking a little dry, with some fibers starting to fray. After cleaning the rock guard, I used applied 5 coats of the Spray Max. The old fiberglass now looks great. I plan to use some on an old fiberglass ladder to keep the fibers from getting on my gloves and clothes. Use eye protection and a mask. This stuff is fierce!

I used it as a top layer after repainting an area on my car. It gave it the exact shine it needed! Bravo!

This 2 part product is excellent. Be aware that the sheen is not matte. It is a flat look.

Repainted a Ducati Panigale V4 tank. Sanded the tank with 320 to remove the defects a tank cover left. Hit any bare metal with an etching primer and sanded with 400 grit. Wiped with denatured alcohol and used a low tack rag. Sprayed it in 2K satin black then after waiting 4 hours wet sanded with 1000 grit to remove any orange peel or dust nibs. Sprayed with matte clear by spraying a light coat with a 50% overlap then a heavier coat with a slower motion and a 75% overlap. Couldn’t be happier with the results.

I have used the gloss clear several times but this is the first time using the matte. Even over a glossy base coat this clear provided an even matte finish with consistent sheen.

The product has a decent durability to it although its consistently inconsistent in its spray concentration. You have. Due to this you have to watch the distance of spraying this paint. IF you get to close and the card decides to throw more paint than it was. It will leave drips. Although bad part of this is it the spray pattern is more so a mist as opposed to a a directed spray pattern. This is seen immediately on initial spray. Ive ordered other Spray Maxx items and have had the same issues. Nt sure at this time of a specific alternative although I will update when I find one. Hope this helps.
