First, no hard case with the Conin E7 unless you call a flat soft plastic drawstring bag a hard case! However this Hermitshell is as good as it gets, most especially for the price. A perfect fit like it was made for the E7, a pocket inside for USB and 3.5mm cables in which the pocket has a great Velcro closure! Double zipper pulls, well made and enough padding that normal drops and weather will not damage the headset! Such an inexpensive way to protect your headsets from dust and coffee spills and help preserve the fine electronics to surely last longer and protect the finish also!

I first ordered a slightly larger alternative that was simply too big. This case is as good or better than the one we have for our Bose headphones. Btw, we use this for our Cowin E7 headphones. It's the perfect size especially for travel when you're packing light. It's also well constructed and protective. I wish this type of solution was included with the headphones but this case is a great after-market choice priced to be a value. I can't speak to the long-term longevity but it seems like it will last. I'll be happy to get a year or two out of it anyway as these types of purchases are factored in as a cost of travel. I'm not sure why people are leaving dramatic comments about odor -- I just received the case, and it's great! There's nothing more than a very faint smell of "newness," but it's certainly nothing I would have even noticed if I hadn't read comments about there being this terrible strong odor.It's a great little case, my Cowin E7 headphones fit in it perfectly, and it checks all the boxes for what I was looking for!I ordered black, so maybe some of the colored cases have odor issues. The black one I received certainly didn't. I'm very happy with my purchase! :)

I travel a lot for my job, and this headset works great for those long flights. I have had a number of travelers comment on how stylish this is as well as the quality. Now its not a Sony/Bose, but it is very good imho for the price. Sound quality is good, and the noise cancellation does its job to cancel out the "hum" from the aircraft. Highly recommended.

This case is great. There's no way you could ever damage your headphones when they're in this case.

Good fit for the head phones, even though it will take up a lot more room in carry-ons than the soft pouch that came with the earphones. There is ample space inside for the cords, and also for an Ipod to use at times when the in-flight programming is disappointing.

Sturdy, the headset fits perfectly and it’s got a little net compartment with a wrist band inside in case you want to carry your case like that.Only complain is the odor. Similar to what other people have said, it has some weird smell (probably the new smell but whatever they use to produce it is unpleasant). I let my case air out for about a week and the smell is now gone. No need to spray anything so don’t do that! I still put my headphones inside during the day but don’t worry, the smell won’t adhere to your headphones.I am very satisfied with this product!

This is exactly what I was looking for. It would be almost impossible for them to make this case smaller. It is a hard shell, which does a better job of protecting, and the surprise was the way they designed the cable pocket. It actually velcros to the inside. So, cables won't ever fall out. I'm using it to protect my Cowin E7 headphones.
