Q: Do they bend if you're prying something and put your 200+ pounds of body weight on them like the Ludell digging bars ?

This is first bar I've ever owned, and I did my research. It's suppose to be a great buy. It's an excellent tool. I put my whole weight on it, and it did not bend. But I only weigh 170 Lb.

Q: Can you bend these bars while trying to pry up a rock, roots, etc? My Luddell (india) and HFT (china) bars BENT! Made in USA Steel ?

I haven't bent mine yet. A contractor used it to pry an auger out of the ground that was stuck, which is a pretty good test. The good thing is that you can buy a new one if you bend it since it's not expensive. And a slightly bent pry bar (we call them Texas Toothpicks here) is still useful.

Q: What's the difference between the pencil point and diamond variety (durability)?

Been a while since I bought this, but I think one is pricier than the other. (I am not sure there is any marked difference between the two.) I ordered the Pencil Point, so I gather it is the less pricey one. The bar is awesome. I've used it a few times to cut through Southern Arizona stone and rock to plant roses, and it does the job.

Q: what does this bar weigh?

As weighed directly on my bathroom digital scale: 16.4 lb I wasn't certain how accurate my scale is at the low end, so I weighed myself, and then myself holding the bar - the difference was 16.2 lb That's as precise as I can be with a crude instrument :-)
