I have an in home child care. Infants through 5year’s. I have a not walking 16 month old (delays) who prefers to be held. I was able to set that little out n my hip with the detached seat while holding one of my 4 month olds in the pack on my chest securely without worry and without straining my arms.Completely worth the investment!I bout 2.One for me, one for my helper. We both love them.

I love this thing

I like this carrier for the hip seat, my son is 20lbs it allows for his weight to be on the seat and his bottom instead of on the fabric around his thighs so it does not dig in or cut off circulation. There is less preassure on my lower back and I can tell my son is much more comfy in this one for longer periods of time.However, the strap that loops around your shoulders and runs along your ribs really digs in and is uncomfortable. I wish they would of padded that part of the strap and will probably buy one of those seat belt pads to go around it for more comfort.I also wish you could unbuckle the shoulder strap to make it easier to put your little one in the carier, instead of trying to put him in through the top while he is squirming and flailing. It is definitely easier with a second set of hands to get him in safely, when I'm by myself I sit on the floor to get him in just incase he kicks free.

I like several things about this carrier, which is similar to the pricier ERGObaby. This is a very versatile carrier that can also be used with a hip carry attachment. I like everything about the carrier, especially the versatility and high-quality materials. I’ve had one baby carrier that was a simple front and back facing one, but wasn’t as sturdy nor as well-made. There is a small user manual with step-by-step instructions and visuals.The high-quality material is sturdy and is very well sewn. Spot cleaning is the preferred method of cleaning and instructions for laundering are in the manual, which is a folded sheet of paper. This carrier isn’t meant for an infant and shouldn’t be used until the baby is four months old. There are inserts for an infant, but they can be quite costly. This type of carrier is designed for the 8-to-45-pound infant / toddler.As mentioned, there are instructions, but use isn’t intuitive and take a while to figure out how to use it. After a while setup and use will be intuitive. A really nice carrier that’s much more affordable than others I’ve had. The different carrying ways include:1) Front Carry - Front Inward2) Front Carry - Front Outward3) Hip Carry4) Back CarryIn comparison to many carriers, this is not only an affordable one, but is very good quality. I don’t care for the logo, but no one will be looking at it. The closest comparison, of course, would be with the ERGObaby. Not many differences save the difference in price.

The seat it’s not padded how it says and it’s too bulky in the seat area. Not comfortable at all
