Not much you can actually say about this, it's the correct battery and it's the correct battery holder cover and o-ring part for the Suunto Vector I have. You must use a new battery cover and o-ring gasket every time you change the battery if you want it to remain water resistant and also be easy to open the next time you need to change the battery. I've tried scrimping and just grabbing a battery and reusing the old cover and gasket in the past, and wound up with a stretched out gasket that folded up in the threads and made removing the battery cover almost impossible. Took a jeweler's vice and a sharp enough tool to engage the cover that it almost destroyed the battery cover. Learned my lesson that time, do it the way the factory says to and replace the cover/gasket combo at the same time.This was cheap and does the job precisely as required, so 5 stars. And as an aside, I still love my Suunto Vector, the lightest watch I've ever worn, supremely comfortable, and a veritable goldmine of data on local conditions, a perfect toy for the data obsessed engineer or an active outdoors type person.

I liked it came with a rubber O ring, which I was not sure would be in the packet.

I have a Suunto Vector that I recently got out of storage. I wore this watch on every mission I went on in Iraq years ago and it helped me out more than a few times. The battery had died so I ordered this kit and it was perfect. Put the battery in and the cover on and had my old deployment watch working in no time. Fast delivery and everything as advertised.

Replacement kit is o.k., the process of actually using it to replace your battery is the key. First, very lightly "notch/mark the point on the watch and the old cover where the battery come out of its slot. Then, I HIGHLY recommend you clean the back of the watch thoroughly, particularly the threads that the battery cover uses. Then use (just a little) vaseline on the battery cover gasket . Place the battery in the holder on the watch back. Be extremely careful to place the cover in the same orientation as the one you removed and using a quarter, or "stubby" screwdriver, sloooowly turn the cover into the slot, watching to make sure the gasket doesn't "bunch up" as you turn it. If it bunches up, back the cover out immediately and smooth the gasket out making sure you have a bit of vaseline on the place it bunched up. Repeat inserting and placing the cover. Good luck, so far my batting average for a good placement is 2 out of 3 over the past 8 years,

I've owned my Suunto Vector watch since 2003, a few years before they became mainstream, and I can affirm the quality is really good but over the 13 years I've owned my Vector I have had to replace the battery a few times because I use watch functions quite often. The watch doesn't use much juice so the battery lasts a dependable couple years. This Duracell battery is pretty good. If you're planning a long trip overseas I strongly suggest picking one up in advance in case you need it during your journey. Some parts of the World you can't find this battery as easily. Good product.

Sure, you can buy just a battery and install it in your Suunto in just a few minutes, but why not cover all you bases and do the battery door and gasket at the same time?You get the battery, as well as a door with installed gasket with this kit. Install is straightforward, although the old door can be pesky to get off.I've had my Vector for probably 10 years and have had to replace the battery twice - it is worth the extra few bucks to do the whole kit. Cheap insurance. Seals do get dirty and break down over time.Update - just did another battery change with this kit 9/10/2015 - change went flawlessly - and based on the date of my previous review, my battery lasted 2 years and 3 months, and the watch hadn't died - only the battery indicator had come on. Some think the cost is high compared to the battery - but less than $10 for over 2 years? You won't find me complaining.

He tried to change the battery and apparently thought that the battery door screwed out like a bottle cap with the result it was all gouged out. I ordered this kit and while it took me awhile to get the old door out because the old door was all chewed up, the battery and the new door went in easily and the watch now works and looks like new. This is a great idea to put the door and the battery in a kit as I am sure my friend isn't the only one to destroy the cap in trying to change the battery. Owners of the watch using this kit need only to look at the back of the watch and they will see that the door is marked to show that it is twisted slightly and it then can be lifted out.

What's not to love. It's a battery and an o-ringed battery compartment cap for the watch. This comment is directed to Suunto, why can I not be able to buy the o-ring and not the whole assembly. I have a hand full of old caps that only need a new o-ring, if I knew the correct size and other things like could I use a neoprene o-ring, could I apply o-ring grease to extend the life of the 0-ring. O-rings become flattened, deformed, brittle, and loose elasticity over time. Maybe Suunto is already using neoprene, but I wouldn't know. Another thing Suunto used to offer a kit whereby I could replace the rotating bezel, but no longer. I have to sent the watch back to Suunto or a facility for a user serviceable item. Maybe Suunto ought to bring back the bezel kit. Still the battery kit is everything it says it is, so I give it a fiver

Passt wie beschrieben zur Suunto x-lander. Qualität top. Batterie ist neu, und nicht schon Jahre alt. Dichtung ist in Herstellerqualität.

Excellent produit pour prolonger la vie d'un Suunto. Surtout le nouveau joint et bouchon parce-que après plus de 12 ans avec plusieurs changements de pile le bouchon était totalement détruit. Presque une nouvelle montre pour seulement quelques Euros.

Con la prova gratuita di prime il pacco sarebbe dovuto arrivare il giorno successivo all'ordine. Rimango in casa tutto il giorno ad aspettare ma il corriere non si presenta. La sera ricevo mail da amazon con la quale mi viene comunicato che il corriere non ha effettuato la consegna non avendomi trovato in casa, senza lasciare, tra l'altro, il solito avviso nella buca. Scrivo immediatamente ad amazon specificando che ero rimasto vincolato in casa proprio per attendere il pacco e che il corriere non è passato ma aveva trovato un espediente per non disattendere i tempi di prime.Seppure l'inconveniente non fosse imputabile ad amazon si sono scusati, mi hanno regalato un altro mese di prime e hanno sollecitato il corriere in modo che effettuasse la consegna al primo giorno lavorativo utile.Professionali, consigliatissimo Amazon Prime.Complimenti e grazie,

Perfecto el producto (las 5 estrellas son para el producto)... pero el gasto de envío fue demasiado alto para un sobre tan pequeño... de toda manera, como siempre los productos originales son perfectos y los aconsejo mucho pero solo si necesitáis cambiar el tapón y la junta... si es solo la batería, comprándola en cualquier tienda se ahorra un montón!!!
