5PCS Seed Starter Trays Kit

Like others have said, these are a bit small, but they work well and they're a really great quality for the price. They are the perfect size for a 30mm peat pellet. I didn't receive any sort of instructions on how to use the lights and timer, but it was fairly simple to figure out. I had just been turning them on to start the timer, but they have been turning on automatically at 6am every day, so the auto timer does work, it just takes some trial and error. (I wish I could tell you how I made it work, but I honestly have no idea.) The self-watering and humidity control features have been really helpful. I've been very happy with this purchase, and would absolutely recommend them to anyone on a budget who is trying to get their garden started.

These individual systems are great to start seeds indoors. The trays are very lite plastic but well engineered. I noticed some reviews the light was too dim, just remember, this is not a grow house its only to start the seeds, so only enough light is needed to last until you can plant. The light timer accommodates both stages of growth depending on weather you want to start the growing stage (over 12/hrs), or flowering stage (under 12/hrs). The timer is hard to read but the remote light color is obvious, it was easy to find the 12/hr setting since it's blue/purple, or third push of the remote (pick close up attached). The only two negatives are: (1) You must turn on the timer at the exact time you want to begin your daily light cycle since the remote does not have a timer; no big deal and I wouldn't expect a timer for the great price! (2) all the light wiring is combined into one bundle instead of individual systems, that makes placement of the trays tight if your going to be using a few at one time. I'm sure this is one reason they can keep the price down, but they should have made the wiring different lengths so its easier to group the little start containers. Still, extremely happy with the purchase and the kit exceeded my expectations!

This has been the coolest thing. I've never been into planting things until now and these are the perfect way to start. The cost is low and the product actually works. I do wish there was an option to choose which lights are on but other than that these are perfect for planters of all experiences.

These work well when I start my garden seeds inside in the late winter. The seeds germinate well with the grow lights.

I planted my first seeds today. The led light disks fit into the lids perfectly with just a little pressure. I like how they can be turned to allow humidity to vent as needed. The sticker did already fall off the control but it was easy enough to reapply. I'll keep an eye on it and super glue it back on if needed. The tiny shovel was actually more useful than I thought it would be when I first saw it. I planted tomato seeds today to be planted outside in 8 weeks.

Love them! Buy them now and get a heat mat to go with them, your seeds will germinate so fast it will make your head spin. They are awesome and store easily in when not in use! I love them so much, I bought two more for me and two for my cousin. If I had the room, I would buy more. The seedlings come out of the cells easy too!
