Really like these slippers so will hand-sew up the rip in seam from first washing. I put each slipper in its own mesh bag and then into washing machine on medium agitation. Maybe try delicate next time. Only 1 of the 6 slippers has a seam rip so far. Slippers seem to fit women's size 7-9 comfortably. Cushy. I like them for guest slippers. Not sure how well they would hold up with daily wearing and frequent washing, but seem like a good slipper for guests.
