If a traditional gravy boat just won't hold enough gravy for your Sunday dinner then like me, you need a gravy pitcher. I don't like getting up in the middle of supper to refill the gravy boat. This pitcher is 24 oz. And if you have a large table with lots of guests - buy two of these. It is very pretty to look at and is a relic of a bygone age. This is what you'd find on a medieval lord's table in a manor or castle. This pitcher is for a real gravy lover. A dear friend once confessed to me "When I see a standard gravy boat on the table, my first thought is 'what's everyone else going to eat?'"

This was a gift for my mother who loves this winterberry line of dishware. I was so glad I was able to find it on Amazon because she looks everywhere for it and apparently it is difficult to find (especially inexpensively). I was so excited to see her face when she opened it and immediately said "Where did you find it?!" She used it for Christmas dinner and also put a small flower arrangement in it after the holiday. I am so glad she loves it. It is also larger than I would have thought. It holds quite a bit of sauce or gravy which is an added bonus.

I have started doing waffles and ham on Christmas Eve so I used the winterberry gravy/sauce pitcher to heat and serve maple syrup for the waffles. I have had the winterberry dinnerware for several years and I love it.

This is my second such pitcher. It is not large (holds 24 oz), but is great for Christmas entertaining when serving a variety of drink options. It is called a gravy/sauce pitcher but I have never used it that way. Typical Pfaltzgraff quality. I may purchase a third pitcher!

This is a good quality vase, and BIG. Not too big, but bigger than it looks. If you're in to the Winterberry scene, this is a good item to have or to give. I bought a Pfaltzgraff 16-piece dinnerware set, and got the vase as a table decoration for flowers.

This is exactly what I was Looking for! I wanted a big gravy pitcher and this did not disappoint. Very sturdy, kept the gravy warm and love the look. Highly recommend.
