This is by far the brightest flashlight I own and I own a lot of flashlights. It's design may be a bit bulky rather then your conventional slim led flashlight but its not all that bad to lug around. Now for the flashlight being 4000 lumens is a no, but very bright it is. I would say 2000 lumens at the most. It took me about 3 days to come to a decision in order to finally purchase this flashlight. The reason for the delay of purchase is that you may buy from a company that it selling a knock off of a knock off. Do the research befor purchase. Check the background of seller and be sure that their ratings have positive feed back. Also try and research youtube videos also. I've learned that the knock off will arrive in a all white box not packed so well. Also the securitylng stamp will not be on the rim of the flashlight. These are 2 ways you can identify that you have received a knock off of a knock off. Over all e direct amazon prime item came straight from securitylng in the right colerfull box and packed the right way and with the label stamped on the rim of flashlight. Overall the flashlight is awesome and very durable.

For its price, I think this is an astonishingly bright and compact light. It's about the size of a soda can, holds 4 18650 lithium rechargeable batteries (batteries and recharger are NOT included). This is more of a flood light than casting a narrow beam - though you can see the beam in the night sky. I stepped just out my front door when it was dark and it lit up the front of the house across the street from me when I shined it there. By the way, I actually prefer that it came without the charger or batteries - I have several lights that use 18650 batteries and one really good charger is better than a drawer full of cheapie chargers. And it lets me pick my own preference in 18650 batteries.The good:Super bright; high, medium, and strobe modes; compact; relatively inexpensive; does not claim impossible lumen output levels leading to LED failures or a flaming hot light in high mode.Room for improvement:I wish the On/Off switch were physically shielded making it harder to accidentally turn on the light. The last thing you want is to put this in your car glove compartment and have it accidentally get turned on.

Pros:-Bright-Holds 4 18650's-Holes on body for multiple uses.-Click button-Body is sturdy aluminium.Cons:-Not waterproof. Tested in 3 feet of sea water and luckily I only risked one cheap 18650. Water seeped into body where batteries are stored AND in the led housing. Tested it the first day I received it and looks like I'll have to return it.-Brightness did not impress me. I own a cheap 8 dollar ultrafire flashlight with the same CREE LED, only difference is it's one led and not four. The brightness jump from one to four seemed only like a 1.5x increase in brightness with this flashlight.

These are clearly the "fake" XML LED's, not CREE as advertised. Seller is falsely advertising this, as many others do. The output poorly under performs what's stated, and drops like a rock as soon as you turn it on. A Chinese company called LatticeBright is responsible for putting so many of these fake CREE LED's on the market. Anyone who is a serious hobbyist or in this business, knows all about this. The seller is either not aware because they don't know the products they sell, or is intentionally selling you "fake" CREE's because they can get away with it, and make outrageous claims of output.I have a light box to measure lumens, and using high performance fully charged cells (Samsung 25R Button Tops), I measured: 1632 lumens @start, 1350 lumens @30 secs.They are supposed to quote flashlight lumens measured after 30 seconds (ANSI/NEMA FL-1 standards), so they claim 2400, actual is 1350, and continues to drop rapidly after the 30 secs.In addition, the internal design is so poor, the heat generated by the LED's has no decent path to get to the body, and to the outside air. The manufacturer chose to do it this way. When these lights first came out, the boards the LED's were mounted on sat on a shelf, threaded, press fit, or built in to the body so the heat had a good path to get to the mass of metal, and out to air. Now there is no shelf, and the board the LED's mount to floats or sits on a very thin edge of an anodized shelf - very, very poor connection. So the LED's can cook, which greatly shortens their life time. Why do these guys get a free ticket to make these false claims? I have no idea, but wish Amazon would not support them in doing so.

Decent brightness but the switch started to fail after about a week three unfortunately I can't recommend this Light. It is now in the trash.

In a word: AWESOME!!! This light is clear beam, has two lower lumen beams, easy to hold, takes four (4) UltraFire Lithium Ion batteries. I have used 2400 - 3,000 - 4,000 - 5,000 mAh (milli Amp Hour) UltraFire Lithium Ion batteries. Of course the BEST results come from the 5,000 mAh batts as they last the longest of all. The device is not heavy as kight tend to be; it`s housing is aircraft aluminum with a semi-recessed on/off multi-function button. The first depress is 4,000 Lumens, second is (guessing here) 3,000L the third, a two thousand lumen, then off. The face has a slight "stand-off" which makes for a great table type lamp if needed, and it is heavy enough to use as a weighted weapon if needed. The weight is slight, estimated at 5 lbs or less. Overall, I give it a deserving five stars without hesitation and once you have it and light it up, I`m sure you will also agree, it deserves the rating!

Dieser, zugegeben, etwas schwere Handscheinwerfer (490 gr. mit 4 Akkus) ist für kleine Hände etwas unhandlich, aber seine Lichtleistung ist phänomenal. Die Lichtleistung ist nicht so sehr auf Reichweite, sondern auf Umgebungslicht ausgelegt, es fehlt eine Zoomeinrichtung. Als Akkus kann man nicht alle verwenden, die einen sind zu dick, die anderen zu lange für den Schacht. Verwendbar waren die UltraFire 18650 Akkus Li-Ion, aber auch die waren, nur mit hohem Druck, verschraubbar. Die Gewinde sollten unbedingt mit Siliconfett gefettet werden. Empfehlen kann man diesen Scheinwerfer allemal.

暴光です。18650バッテリー(ノートpcから外したもの)を使って、点灯させてみてビックリ。車のHIDフォグなみの明るさです。数万円する他のライトは使ったことありませんが、この価格でこの明るさなら十分です。よく見かける18650を1本使うライト(cree L2×1)よりも遥かに明るいです。しかしhighモードで長時間使うと持てないほど熱くなりますが、lowモードだと大丈夫です。lowモードでも明るいですよ。逆に町中での使用は迷惑になる明るさなので、lowのほうがいいぐらいです。購入して正解でした。

Vor einem Jahr habe ich die ThruNite® MINI TN30 CREE XP-L V6 LED Max 3660 Lumen gekauft, diese ist deutlich heller, aber dafür auch dreimal so teuer.Wer eine helle Lampe sucht, aber nicht das maximal machbare Helligkeit braucht ist mit diese Lampe aber trotzdem gut bedient.Der Lichtkegel ich doch sehr punktförmig, besonders wenn man diese Lampe für den Nahbereich nutzen will ist diese ein Nachteil, die ThruNite ist hier deutlich besser.

My torch has now failed due to the poor design and insulation of this torch. The front screw head provides pressure onto the metal reflector, which inturn, pushes down on the led plate. If this is done up to a moderate strength the metal reflector shorts out the positive and negative of the torch. These connections are not insulated and has fried the smd chips on the pcb.Rather dodgy
