It works (I presume)
I can't believe how prohibitively expensive this is but I could not find it anywhere else. With that being said, I can't imagine that a ton of them have been sold so if a thief tries to access the OBD port to steal my car, they'll likely be surprised and stumped. Installation was fairly simple but after the first few attempts, I could only get one screw on either side to "grab" at a time. I figured out that I had to very securely hold the part that holds the screws firmly against the obd port while screwing each side a little at time until they both grabbed. In other words, if you're having the same problem, don't screw in either side completely before screwing in the other side. If you do each screw little by little, it should fully grab. I did some firm tugs and it seems to be on tight. Don't lose the screw remover as it appears to be very uniquely made to fit with each screw. I imagine if I use some pliers to yank it off, the whole obd port will be damaged which I guess would spare my car from theft. Yes, it did hurt my wallet to purchase this item but now that I have it, it works in tandem with all of my other anti-theft devices, one of which is that I have a manual car in the USA, lol. Hopefully, the thief won't know how to drive one!

This doesn't lock anything
Sure these are keyed screws, but it screws into a plastic insert that goes into your OBD2 port. There is nothing preventing people from pulling out the metal cap with the plastic insert. One would slow down thieves more with a few zip ties wrapped around the port. Expensive AF for having such a useless design.

Overpriced but cheaper than replacing your truck.
This is a screenshot directly from their manual. Part F is metal. Part E is plastic. It installed in about 5 minutes only because I didn't realize how much pressure I needed to apply to the screws. The screws have a lock number on them so that should you lose your key uou could order another one That's a nice touch. It came with a card to keep in your wallet or somewhere safe with the code number of the bolt. Hopefully the car thieves aren't smart enough to carry a handful of these keys and match them to the numbers. The manual is downloadable from a QR code they send along in the package. For $200 I think it should come with a printed manual with bigger pictures and explanations in text not just pictures. It arrived in a baggie and looked like it came from the hardware store. Fit and finish is great and the machining is spot on. It seems really secure but definitely overpriced. I wish there was a way to let the car thief know that the OBD was inaccessible before they break the window to try to steal the car.

Snake Oil
This doesn’t lock or prevent anything. Purchased a used vehicle that unbeknownst to the dealer or myself, had one of these gimmicks on so they couldn’t hook the vehicle up for diagnostic service. They said they were going to order a new port to replace it since they’ve never heard or seen of such a ridiculous device since keys can’t be made with dealer software, but I just couldn’t let that go. The ad pictures say “5 minute install” which is great, but I’ll add that it only took me 5 minutes to get it off with a pick and very small needle nose pliers. Beware, snake oil. Don’t waste your time or money.

Great concept, poor delivery
This concept is a great idea, however it doesn't work for me. I have the correct one for my vehicle and followed the instructions completely. It will not hold AT ALL, it can be pulled off with no issue. The 'Self tapping' screws do not engage completely and will not work. I am sending this back. I tried to call customer service and they answer in French. Thankfully I know enough French, they attempted to get me to an actual person but all I keep getting is a voicemail.

Seems secure.
Easy to install, it seems secure. Granted I don’t use full strength to try to break it off, but a few 50% strength pulls, it seems really strong. If someone tries to break it off, they will most likely break off the entire OBD port before they are able to get the protector off. If you have a high end car buy this. It may not be a 100% theft proof but it is a good deterrent, as it’ll take a while for someone to actually break it off.

Disappointing, Caveat emptor.
Product listing says “Clear install instructions”. It didn’t come with ANY instructions. For $189 USD, there should be a comprehensive printed manual. I can’t recommend it.
