Fine on relatively easy ground and very light. But if you hit a stone and hit the at all hard, instead of bending (so still usable when straightened) they snap off where the groove is to catch cords etc. Once that has happened, which it did for about a third of them, they are totally useless. For the money that's very bad.

Acheté pour un tel d'une semaine ou on compte ses grammes dans le sac à dos ces piquets sont superbes ultra légers très solide pratique et se plante aussi bien dans le sable que l'herbe ou la terre j'ai testé. Je pense en racheter pour remplacer ceux de mon autre tente standard pas solide et lourd.

Wir hatten die Heringe für unser Strand- bzw. Sonnenschutzzelt bestellt, welches wir in Kroatien am Strand aufgeschlagen haben. Wir waren auf der Insel Rab und haben somit nur Sandboden getestet. Hat gut funktioniert. Die Heringe sind zu dick, um sie durch die Ösen der am Zelt befindlichen Laschen zu stecken - aber dafür hängen ja die Schnüre mit an den Heringen. Also Hering in den Sand, Schnur ans Zelt und Hering ganz versenken. Funktionierte ohne Hammer super. Zelt stand auch im Wind bombenfest. Ein Hering hat sich leicht verborgen, als ich ihn mit meinem Fuß und Körpergewichtseinsatz in den Sand getrieben habe. Ist aber immer noch funktionsfähig. Preis-Leistung ist super.

Unico neo riscontrato è una certa debolezza in caso si incontrino ostacoli nel terreno (sassi, ecc.): in quel caso il rischio di piegarli non è trascurabile, rivelandosi un po' "teneri"
