What a wonderful book. The descriptions of kids and teens who beat selective mutism using this treatment are inspiring. I cried! It gives real tools that teachers, parents and therapists can use, it seems really doable, and gives hope! I loved the part about raising sensitive children, and the section on treating teens was full of techniques. I highly recommend it

The case studies in this book gave me an understanding of Selective Mutism and how it can be treated addressed and successfully and had useful research. They were just lovely to read and gave a positive direction based on facts. A great resource to tackle the task of beating SM and includes clear protocols for treatment by parents teachers and therapists. Also a good and much needed section on treating older kids and teens which is more what I need. I have recomended it!
