Essie hard to resist - glow and shine
I have no idea how this nail polish stayed on my nails the first week I used it. I use a lot of sanitizer and other solvents at work. Usually, I wear gloves but inevitably it will touch my skin and nails. It did not budge and I was impressed! However, the following weeks it just flaked off my nails every 2 to 3 days. I can't take stars off, tho. It is not as durable as I thought, but it still hardens the nails and conditions them thoroughly. No complaints. I use essies hard to resist to maintain and enhance my nail health and it does a fantastic job. The product is hot pink in the bottle but on the nails it's only a hint of sheer color. I usually add a coat every 2 to 3 days to maintain the shine after the initial application of 2 coats. 4 coats is visibly pink but not overbearing, just not natural anymore. If you flood your cuticles they will look bloodshot after multiple coats. Nails are harder, not bendy and grow without splitting or peeling. I love it. You can still break your nails by being careless. Don't forget to moisturize your hands and nails regularly, because no polish on this planet can counteract the damage of dried out crumbly nails and cuticles.

"your nails but better" in a bottle
what a LOVELY nail polish. I've been looking for a sheer pink gloss for a while ("Nail Glow" from a brand I shall not mention felt too pricey for me for a basic polish) and I've certainly found a winner. essie's Glow and Shine goes on smooth, dries fast (a HUGE problem for me—I always mess up my nails before they dry), and is overall a lovely shade of maybe-she's-born-with-it pink. the pink is buildable, which I find great. you can apply one, two, or more layers depending on whether you want a mere concealer look, a noticeable pink glow, or a semi-sheer pink. I did two coats, as shown in the attached video and photos. as for nail strengthening, I ~think~ it would make a difference with continuous use. I haven't had it long enough to say, but I have noticed that my nails FEEL much stronger that they do without it. the only complaint I have is that it chips around the edges if you use your hands often—for example, if you're like me, with frequent typing. that being said, a quick touch-up is no problem to me, especially because of how fast it dries. that being said, LOVE it. will be keeping this stocked from now on.

Good
I think it’s working to make my nails a little sturdier. It’s a little thicker than I expected. It’s very, very shiny, and the pink color is very sheer. You have to apply it carefully, it’s more like a sheer polish than a transparent care product. It takes a while to dry smudges easily. I haven’t tried putting polish on top so I can’t speak to that, but when applied carefully it looks nice on bare nails. It chips after a few days, so you have to remove it before adding a new coat.

Splitting, peeling nails gone!
I never write reviews, but I am SO impressed with this product. I’m a 50-year-old perimenopausal woman who has always had healthy nails, with no issues growing them. Suddenly, they’ve begun to break, split, and peel—overnight and constantly. I’ve always loved Essie nail polish so decided to give this a try. Used two coats (and sometimes three) for two weeks, replacing every three to four days. My nails are completely back to normal. And such a pretty pink tint, too. Don’t hesitate to buy this if you’re in need of nail repair!

Miracle Polish
My nails were so brittle after wearing gel polish for many months. I used this polish for about a month and my nails look better than ever. You have to keep applying the polish over several days because it's very light and peels off but it's well worth it. My nails are growing long and are no longer splitting and chipping.

I wanted to love this but it is just Ok
This didn’t really do anything for me. I like Essie products but this one was just “ok”. It peels quickly and the pink didn’t really make my nails look healthy or vibrant, either.

Worthless, Chips Off Immediately
This product is worthless, chips off immediately. I should have taken the warning from other reviews that this product chips or peel off quickly because it does. Two layers, dried inbetween, and chipped off before the end of the day. Tried a second time the next day, adding a third layer and it actually ended up chipped off MORE. Pictures show where the polish ends. My nails have been extra weak recently despite biotin supplements and no polish. I was hoping this product would help. It seems to have made my nails worse, as where I am having breakage issues is where the product peels/chips off...so it doesn't help at all. Amazon is truly a rip off anymore, as you can't return this junk. I understand it is a hygiene issue, but amazingly TEMU will return most anything, most times allowing you to keep/donate the item. You can't tell me a large company like Amazon can't do the same. It's greed. I have had several issues recently, including opened packages and damaged items being delivered, this is just the cherry on top. I am glad I cancelled my Prime membership last year and I WON'T ever be renewing. I suggest people buy Sally Hansen Hard as Nails from any local grocery/drug store...it works far better and at a fraction of the cost of this crap. Back to Sally I go.

essie's 'Hard to Resist' is definitely hard to resist. I simply love this product. My new favourite thing in life is this pinky-hued essie nail care product. I love how smoothly it goes on, even over ridged or damaged nails. I love how it has a subtle pink tint that makes your nails look 'finished', even though it's just a basecoat -- perfect for a low maintenance, natural look, but still polished. I love how I noticed a MAJOR improvement in my nail health after only a week -- it helps reduce yellowing and really does strengthen. The pink tint is very natural looking, and gloss is not glaring, giving just enough shine to say 'yes, my nails are done'. And one application lasted about a week of hard wearing use (I work with my hands, so any regular polish chips off in about a day). I love how polished my hard working hands looked. Did I say I love the subtle pink tint? It's what I've been looking for my whole life. Love this product. Highly recommended. For clarity, this review references the "essie hard to resist vegan nail care, glow and shine, for brittle nails, with nail bonding tech, vegan nail care, 13.5 ml"

Leaves a shiny pinkish hue on bare nails. Very pretty. Don’t put more than 2 coats as I found it began to peel off. Doesn’t make the nails very strong - maybe it nourishes if you use it frequently - but my long nails were still “bendy” after using

I found it easy to apply and it lasted about a week. The tint it gave my nails was only okay.
