Purchased two of these and neither worked. Googled and found video on mechanism. MUST put the battery in + (top) first. Difficult to get - (bottom) in so keep trying. Works like a charm.

This is a pretty clock and it is silent. However the black clock hands on the dark copper background, plus the shiny glare of the plastic make it very hard to see what time it is.

Broken on arrival. None of the hands (3) move even though it ticks.

The clock is very attractive and the tick free movement is very unique. The relatively low cost of this clock makes it a very good buy.

Nice looking clock
