Performance Tool W86109 Metric Low Profile Offset Hex Key Wrench Tool Set for Workshops and Garages, Black, 5-Piece Set

I bought the set on the chance that the 1/4 inch size would compliment a standard hex key that I ground down to a shortened length like these. But I could only turn it so far before the handle of the hex key hit a bracket. So I hoped that these would be rotated so I could alternatively use the two wrenches to turn this miserable bolt. It worked! Maybe the manufacturer realized that they should be rotated. The application was on a Harley Davidson Electra glide exhaust bracket. Normally you would have to remove the entire exhaust system to tighten the bracket, ridiculous eh? These helped me accomplish my mission.Edit 11/25/2024 - I had the set loose in my tour-pak map pocket and when I went to show the set to someone, the 1/4” bit was separated from the handle. Pretty much the same thing that many other people have said. This is serious quality issue that should be addressed. Having seen the handles with the bit removed, you can see that the handles have a hex form so the bitch won’t rotate in the handle. What’s the bitch only appear to be pressed in, so it’s not hard for them to work loose. If I can change the rating, I would change it to one star.

I bought this tool for a bolt that had about a 2 inch space. Even some of my low profile ratchet and bits were too big to reach this bolt. Although it took some work, this tool helped me get out the bolt without stripping it. I did not feel like it was going to break on me even for the amount of force it took to remove the bolt. The clip it comes with however is cheap plastic but I wasn’t planning on actually using it in anyway.

This is a nice set. Well made.
