Temporary Color Care Ash Lathering Tone

I looove the cool tones this gives me, but be careful with use and monitor your hair to see what it can handle. I used this twice in a week (it does not say explicitly on the bottle how often to use) and instantly had breakage and extreme dryness. I also found this works better if you put it directly on your dry hair and let sit for 10 minutes or so and then wash. Works great if you use it once every 2 weeks on bleached hair in a routine with deep conditioning or replenishing products like Olaplex or K18.

This provides the toner needed, at the same time is not a direct toner so doesn’t increase anxiety about putting a treatment on my hair myself.

Made my hair feel like nasty straw: no color difference after shampooing with it. I did get results by using it as a hair mask on unwashed/dried hair. It lightens somewhat, but not enough to buy again. And your hair will feel.like.crap. Buy a superb conditioner if you do use this!!

I loved this toner. At first it left super cute purple/silver highlights throughout my hair. Had so many compliments. After a couple washes it came out to a gorgeous platinum. This photo is after 2 tones.
