This product lives up to the hype. I have been buying it for years, usually from a home store, and was happy to be able to get it on Amazon. Placed early enough and in the right spots, you can trap queens looking to nest. But does a great job of trapping yellow jacket workers. These can be standard "yellow" or the black and white stripped bald-faced hornets (which are a variety of true yellow jacket). Placement is most effective in sunny spots off deck and patio.

Our wasp problem was overwhelming us when we tried this trap and attractant. The wasps were attempting to build a next inside the walls of our house! Once we started using this attractant in the trap we were able to see virtually all the wasps end up in the trap instead of our home, giving us a chance to finally eradicate them. Excellent product and I would recommend it highly!

I am amazed at how efficiently these attract the yellow jackets. The original attractant that is supplied with the traps is nothing in comparison to these. If you buy a trap, get 1 of these to go with it and you will get optimal performance out of the trap.

Doesn't seem to work as good as disposable water bags. Probably won't buy again due to cost. If they were less expensive I'd buy again though.

This is a great product and we’ve been using them for years. They do the job! But get ready, the smell is rough! I would recommend hanging them away from the areas that you frequent. Don’t worry, they will draw the flies!

I had attracted hundreds of yellow jackets in the first day I put out my traps.

We set these yellow jacket traps out when we notice more of them around. Attempting to find an irrigation leak which accidentally disturbed an underground nest under some rosemary that was being pruned and I and the gardener got multiple stings (fortunately not an entire swarm) so we re-baited the traps and put diatomaceous earth around the base of the rosemary and nearby shrubs. The traps started filling up quickly with yellow jackets followed by ants eating the dead yellow jackets so I hope the traps and diatomaceous earth do the trick, don't want to rummage around the rosemary to find the entrance. You have to work quickly putting the bait in and wash your hands immediately afterwards because you will attract yellow jackets into your work space and you because of the scent on your hands.

We put out three traps, 2 in our backyard and one at a horse barn. After several days, very few yellowjackets were in any of the traps. Normally the Rescue traps work very well. I bought a new trap which had the small pouch of wet attractant at a local big box store which in a side-by-side test is outcatching the 10 week cartridge by about 8:1.
