No wiring and works great
Way cheaper than an electric opener for a high lift door. No wiring. Mounted it in 5 minutes and works great. There are no installation instructions. I just put one collar behind the chain guide, then the guide , the chain wheel and finally the second collar. The square key for the chain wheel keeps the second collar about 3/4” from the chain wheel, but it seems ok and works great.

Should have installed long ago!
Works beautifully! Be sure there is enough rod to mount it on. I turned a solid steel extension for the end of my door rod. Fortunately I have the metal lathe to do it! Was a fun project!

Very happy with purchase
Got these for some RV garage doors. I could not see the point in installing $200+ electric doors in something that I use a few times a month at best. These are perfect. Very well made. The chain that come on them is perfect for a 14' high door. They fit right on the 1" shaft. One of the doors shaft was not centered which made the shaft on one side too short, so I did have to detention the spring and move the shaft. Overall very happy.

Crappy customer service
Have requested the mounting directions several times. I would rather know that I have it right than try and figure it out when I’m on a ladder 14ft in the air. I ordered 2 neither came with any kind of diagram or directions. Pretty simple request but they don’t care obviously.

Works great
It went up easy and works great. I used it on a 13' roll up door in my pole barn.

Chain Falls Apart Constantly
For the last few years we have been using this for our garage door which is only used a dozen or so times a year but almost every time we use it we have to take pliers and pinch the chain back together as the links bend apart and fall off each other. I would recommend a higher quality chain as these links are not welded and are to soft that they bend open.

Another item, I should have installed, earlier.
This installation, was on one older 1966 wooden overhead door and one newer 2012 overhead door. Both were 12' x 12' doors. It is just easier, to pull this chain; for both opening and closing. Before, we would have to use a long piece of 2x2 inch wood, to fully push upward, on each door, to get them to "full height" .Yes, both doors' springs are adjusted, correctly, too; so that wasn't an issue, beforehand, either.
