Q: Can this work with a usb headphone?

No. Unless the 3.5 jack is going into an automobile jack, with specific characteristics. I looked for one that would work in both places to no avail. the adapters for automobile use are built in. I tried to use from my call phone to PC USB male to male. in a standard USB port. Dod not work because of different electrical needds
