Handcrafted Kitty Cat Wooden Yarn Bowl for Knitting and Crochet, Gift Boxed

Not only is this a cute yarn bowl, but it is durable too. It's been knocked off the table to the (laminate) floor several times and still looks pristine. Holds the yarn well too, but I imagine that would be hard to mess up.

I bought this for my son's girlfriend, as she knits and loves cats. She will get it for Christmas.It is lovely- the cat's tail is adorable as the yarn guide to the cat's body. It is light, but solid, and will hold a rather large ball of yarn.I had to take a star away due to the roughness of some of the cat cut-out. My husband had to sand it down. I feel that the maker should have someone checking each bowl for smoothness. A minor issue, but for nearly $40, I expected a gift that was ready to use right out of the box.

A gave this as a Christmas present and it was a big hit. However, after ordering this from Amazon, I saw the exact same one at Hobby Lobby for about half the price.

I was so looking forward to being able to use this bowl. It is very cute. But it is clearly not unbreakable. When I opened the box today, the first thing I noticed was an odd piece of wood sitting in the bowl - on top of the bubble wrap! It had apparently snapped between the cat's face and tail and no one thought to remove it from inventory? I have already initiated a return through Amazon.

This is a beautiful yarn bowl, but it needs work. The inside of the wood cuts have not been rounded/smoothed very well at all. While I don't think yarn will actually snag, it will get beat up a little as it is pulled across these less than smooth surfaces. Thankfully a little sanding will fix this problem, and for me it is worth it to have such a cute yarn bowl.

This wood bowl is well designed & made. It has a smooth painted interior finish that doesn't snag yarn. Surprisingly heavy for the size. I love the kitty & the yarn stays within the body while you work your project. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a bowl that is not fragile like pottery.

The Kitty Yarn bowl seemed like it was hand made. I nean the paint smelled fresh and whatnot lol. Holds my yarn very well and i will be taking it with me to all my knit/crochet groups.

I have a collection of yarn bowls. Not to big yet, just started collecting. I think this is one of the most creative ones I have and omg it is very nice to use. Kudos to the creator! I would recommend it to any knitter or crocheter.
