Kwikee1101425 Superseded to 379160: Entry Step

Couldn't understand why my steps kept "hammering" when they retracted. Finally dropped the bolts to see that gear teeth were broken off. The new gear box also came with a replacement drive gear for the motor. Total installation time was maybe 15 minutes and it works like new.

Works as described. Save time and replace the motor as well. experience tells me if the gear is failing, the motor isn't far behind. check your Kwikee manual for the part number for your steps. youtube vids will guide you through the process.

This part was easy to install, to replace the original gear box. Took less than an hour and the steps were working again.

Perfect replacement for my kwikee steps

I replaced the motor and gear box on my 2006 Fleetwood Southwind because the original motor didn't work anymore. It is a good idea to replace both. It was an fairly easy change out , if you are handy. We have used it for awhile now and it performs quiet and smoothly. I'm not sure what sheernes or thickness means in the ratings, but I gave 5 * because of performance.
