Surprisingly roomy and comfortable
I just used this pack for four hours and I had no neck problems like I had previously with my vest. The pack held 4 fly boxes (2 3.5x4.5x.75 inch boxes and 2 2.5x3.5x.75 inch boxes) plus leaders, tippets, sinkers, Gink, my phone, and some tools. It could hold longer boxes as I still had room at the top of the compartment, maybe another 2 inches. I also liked the 2 mesh pockets in the big compartment, 1 for my phone and 1 for leader packs. Seems well constructed. My only complaint is that the big compartment should have two zippers rather than the single one for easier access. I removed the fly pad to make room for tippets as I don't use fly pads. Overall it is a great value for the price. I liked it so much that I bought one for my brother. Great for a short fishing trip where you know what flies you will need not your entire collection.

Great starter rig
I've been super happy with this packaged kit. It's gotten my son and I out on the water, having fun. It has all you need to get started. It's big enough to hold 3 fly boxes, 2 spools of tippet and 2 tenkara spools. All though, this is about the limit.I will most likely upgrade to a larger chest pack sometime next year and will give this MaxCatch pack to my son. He's 14 and this will be good for his first pack. If you are just starting out, or you're an experienced fly fisher and just want to go minimal, for the money, you can't go wrong with this purchase. This is also a great set up for anyone wanted to do Tenkara fishing.

Nicely featured with one fix
Right amount of space and amount of D-Rings and loops for accessories. The netting of the front pocket isn't very tear or hole resistant from snags while walking through the brush. Also, the strap around the torso is a bit short. I'm an average build, wearing a large shirt. However, this was something that a loop of paracord fixed. I like the loop on the neck strap. I attached my magnetic net lanyard to it. Great price.

Love this!
I use this when we go river fishing. We wade often. It has been great and I highly recommend it. I am a small female and fits perfectly on my chest. We did attach a magnet for my net that latches on the back of the net. It holds a lot for its size!

Kinda small yet a weight on my neck.
Barely adequate capacity. Neck strap irritating by the end of the day.

Lightweight, mini backpack.
Lightweight, easy to carry. I turned it into a mini backpack for warmer weather hikes. It was an easy conversion: used chest straps, attached with the plastic binders to d-rings ( see pics) Carries just enough: narrow thermos, mini tarp for sitting, small first aid pouch, rain poncho. I added a water bottle carrier to loop on outside to carry a 12oz water bottle. I added some paracord and binders to outside in case I needed to carry rolled up jacket. The fly holder in front drop down pocket is removable, attached by Velcro. Bag is narrow and so can only carry smaller items, but it works for day hikes. Nice bag!

Just what I wanted
This is a great chest pack. I was looking for something small and lightweight. This fit perfectly. I have used this 4 weekends now and It is about 90% of what I wanted. The pro'sPerfect size.Inside pocket is large enough for both my fly boxes (in their own mesh pockets) and a few extra things.Fold down pocket is nice with the removable foam.Neck strap padding makes a huge difference. The con'sStraps sizes are a little odd (I'm 5'7" and 175lbs and the one that goes around my chest is a little snug.)The neck strap is slightly long. The anchor points for hanging tippet and nippers is a bit odd but not in the way

Great for the price!
I live very close to the Kern River and I often ride my mountain bike over to get in a quick session. For a short outing, this little chest bag is perfect. You hardly know you are wearing it and when you need to change flies, everything is very easy to get to. So far it's held up just fine and I do my share of climbing through willows on the river banks. I would recommend this chest bag and I would purchase it again.

Well made and sturdy.
It was a bit smaller than I expected, but that was a bonus. A great compact chest pack can comfortably hold your gear for a day's outing. I would recommend it, especially if you go off the beaten path as it does not get in the way at all. The straps are a bit of a lower quality, it would be nice to see something a bit tougher but they do the job well. I would say that it is comparable to name-branded products at a fraction of the cost.

I love it
I love this, its so easy to change hooks and lures for what you want to fish for without digging through a large boxNever used for its intended purpose of fly fishing but works for normal, especiallyif you'rethe one driving boat. Has mesh pocket, be careful not to get barbed hooks in it (only time I didn't like this product đ )

Overall good bag
This is a great bag, the only downfall is if you are small it hangs to low and it will be on the way. I am only 4'11 with a short torso.Highly recommend for someone a bit taller then me.
