iSmooth Product ReviewWhen determine in purchasing a film for my my new iPad Air was the same as many wold it be easy to apply, would it leave me with a bunch of bubbles under the surface that I cannot get out no matter how closely I follow the directions, just like the phones. So many claim there easy to get on and bubbly free or "almost" but never are.The iSmooth is thorough and has a complete description of its product they are correct. It bypassed my expectations cause honestly they were quite low. So imagine when me when this product comes with dust removal stickers so remove those small pesky dust particles you can not get with a cloth a smooth cleaning cloth and 2 film and a web address on how to apply it correctly and written instructions. Now most of these if you pull them back up because of a bubbe your done with this no! It remains its stickiness and is quite easy to put down, the dust stickers are nice to have but I did not really need them but a great option because in past I have needs for something like those. The product was easy to align and easy to follow along with the video if you are better with visuals especially with something like this. Its straight forward and fairly simple, most anyone can do it if they have the time and patience to take the proper steps. Bubbles, small bubbles came out very easy and aligned very easy.I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a quality product that is true to its word and will get to by or before the expected delivery date.

Causes a loss of viewing quality - UPDATED REVIEW
This company contacted me on here and promptly offered a different type of screen protector for me to use. So, the bottom line is, though I didn't care for the initial product, these folks stood behind their product and really displayed wonderful service. They were polite and very accommodating, and for that, I changed the rating from a 1 star product to a 4 star overall review. I appreciated their communication and desire to make things right! Careful of the product you are getting. If you want really clear screen protector you may want to go with the Ultra Clear version instead of the Matte version. This screen protector goes on just about as easy as any other screen protector nowadays. I appreciated the dust removal stickers, I did use them, and they helped. However this BIGGEST deal breaker was the fact that this screen protector makes the screen much more blurry, fuzzy, with what appears to be thousands of little colored specks that are visible to the eye. It's almost as if something in the material bends the light projected from the ipad air screen and causes this little specks to ruin the sharpness. I compared this to my wifes ipad air, which is identical to mine. I put them side by side on the same web page, and it is a HUGE difference in sharpness and quality. When you buy an Ipad Air, you are getting some nice resolution for reading, etc. You do not want to be buying a screen protector that takes away from the quality of the screen.

Be patient. It will happen and you will like it.
I followed directions exactly after watching the video and reading the directions. I have many pets so I attempted this in the bathroom with a hot shower running. I tried the first one and thought I messed it all up with a bubble I couldn't get out so I tried the second one that came in the package. Since I had no more after the second one, I was determined to make it work as best I could. It took some time to get all the bubbles and specs out but I did it. My advice, be patient. I just kept at it, getting a speck here and a bubble there, then finally, it was done and it looks great. I took my iPad outside in the sun to use my sketching and painting app, which is why I needed the glare cut down. I was actually able to sketch outside!!! What a difference. This company stands by their product even if the one applying it messes it up. Another piece of advice when applying it, it goes much better if you let it just fall into place instead of forcing it. If you get a spec out, let go of the end letting it drop and see how much better that is, then work the bubbles out hard.

Distorted screen. Too bad.
I managed to install it perfectly since I've become quite experienced with installing screen shields now. I use the door hinge technique where you align the shield and tape it down with two pieces on the side like a door before you peel off the plastic and have it plop down in place. The screen shield is more on the rigid side so pushing out bubbles wasn't too much of a challenge. The feel of the screen shield was very smooth and resisted fingerprints extremely well. The anti-glare was great. However, it distorted the retina screen too much. There was a noticeable grainy rainbow noise effect on the otherwise beautiful retina screen. So sadly, I removed it.Edit: I contacted iSmooth about this and their customer service replied quickly and sent me the Clear version when I asked for an exchange with no fuss at all. The Clear screen protector is great and is the one I will be keeping on my iPad. just like the Matte, I installed perfectly and am satisfied with the quality and no distortion at all. 5 stars for customer service and product quality.
