The tent is quite big and easy to set up. I have a few small tents, but the are not suitable for big families. This one is definitely the best choices for family usage! The space is literally huge. The quality is also good, it is windy but the tent is stable. I’ll try overnight camping with the tent next time.

We set this tent up at 2 o'clock in the morning after a hard day packing and driving to the homestead site. Set up was not difficult with two tent savvy adults, but I don't think one person could do it, at least not without a struggle. We put a large heavy duty tarp under the tent, ( the tarp will cover the cabin roof in a couple of weeks as this tent is temporary housing while we build the cabin) We are literally living in this tent and have done so for over a week now. No complaints. For the price point, there really aren't any negatives. The only tents I've used that I would choose over this one cost 5 times the price. It has rained and rained and rained and rained some more since we started living in this tent. NO LEAKS! It's not windy here. At most, we get very breezy so I cannot attest to the wind endurance. But the light wind has not been a problem at all. We did not use all of the tie outs because of the tarp in the front, but because we are living in this tent for the next month, we needed a place to shake off the mud before going into the tent. The tent is roomy. The partition makes it nice to separate a space for the kids and the engineering of the door was well thought out. We have 2 adults and two children plus what's left of our belongings in this tent. There's definitely space for a family camping trip. I would buy this again over the other options in the under $500 category. The price was the driving point in this purchase since the other tents we looked at were either $400 and up, or had terrible reviews. We looked at REI, Bass Pro and Cabellas, all of them had decent options but I'm really happy we went with this one and I would do it again. Just

It took hours to at it up by myself because I didn’t know what I was doing. The ring at the top to hold the poles broke during my learning curve That can easily be replaced with a large key ring. Once up, I was happy with the space there was. Had some rain overnight, nothing like a downpour but there was no leaks. I am only 5”2 so reaching the top clips was difficult so I would recommend clipping on the top few clips at the top of the crossing poles before sliding it into the pole sleeves. The rest of the clips can be done after as sometimes the clips won’t move once on, if connected to the metal joints on the pole. What I did was to set up the sides (including putting pegs into the group) first, then I did the top two crossing poles last. I did have to readjust the ground pegs to get the fit right but at least I got it up by myself, 😊
