I received this item free as an Amazon Vine reviewer and this is my honest review. I only request items I will actually use, and use I do, prior to writing a review.I wanted a small safe to keep petty cash secure. This Autigersafe looked like it would work so I gave it a try. I ordered the small .44 cubic foot version. The safe ships locked buy with the emergency keys outside (note, never lock the emergency keys in the safe). You pop off a small plug between the knob and keypad (pictured) and insert the key into the hole to unlock for the first time. This is also good if the batteries ever die or the electronic lock fails. Once open, I installed 4 AA batteries (not supplied) and programed a new code. The instructions to do both are east to follow, I won’t bore you with them here. The locking bolts are huge (pictured). Combine those with a fairly thick door and decent body, it is very secure. I would expect, like with any safe this type, that with enough time and hand-tools you can break in. But my objective is to have something that keeps an honest person honest and this safe does just that. The lock mechanism feels a bit plasticy (if that is a word), and it is. I don’t know how durable it will be long-term but after a few months of daily use I am not having any issues.Internal volume is good, with enough room for cash, a firearm or two, jewelry and your prized book (pictured). There is not a shelf, so everything just needs to be stacked in. There is a piece of carpet on the bottom to shield items from the steel body. There are also two predrilled holes on the back and two more on the bottom. You can use the included screws to mount this to a shelf or wall, if you wish. I actually used a bunch of rare earth magnets and “stuck” this safe to a metal shelf. Don’t laugh, it worked well!If I was protecting bricks of gold, like the seller shows on the ad, I would not trust this. But overall, I am very pleased with this safe and think, for what it is, this is a good value for the money.As I do at the end of all my reviews, I ask myself if I would actually purchase this item. Yes, I would buy this.

I wanted to get a small safe for our new house. This seemed to be a good match. It is small enough to fit on a bookshelf or wall shelf in a closet. It isn’t too heavy.I like that it comes with an emergency key and the key hole is right in the front of the safe.The manual needs some editing. For example, one page says 4 AAA batteries, while another says 4 AA batteries. For the record, it takes 4 AA.Overall, I am happy with it. It meets my needs for small items and emergency cash. It’s similar in size to what you’d find in a hotel.

The media could not be loaded. Honestly got to say I'm pretty impressed and happy with the safe. For the price, I figured I'd get some really janky safe but it's a secure little thing. Enough space to store 2 personal hand guns, ammo, and jewelry. See my attached video to check it out. The only improvement I would ask for is a sturdier door handle. When it's locked it kind of jiggles a little bit as it's made of metal and plastic. I'd like to see all metal parts! Other than that it's awesome and I trust it. My old safe malfunctioned so I got this one and let's just say that this should have been my first choice. I did the drop test and the batteries didn't fall out and force me to use the key. The mounting hardware was included and made the installation a breeze. This is one that is priced at true value and gets an A+ for size, price, and durability. It is larger than I thought it would be yet still a perfect size. I can store more in there than my original plan. There was no lag upon entering the password and opening it. Of course spare keys are included. I love it!

This is a nice product and I purchased it for a family member that really likes it!! He's in a nursing home and needed away to keep his belongings safe!! Works well does as described! Made durable and would purchased again for myself or as a gift!!

Love having something bedside to keep my valuables and other items not safe to leave around the house. It gives me peace of mind being able to secure things and protect things I don’t want to lose. Sturdy and not too big. Perfect to bring along if you’re traveling as well!!
