Using my hammock the first time, near a fire, I had an ember land on the fabrix, and burn a small hole in it.I had slept on it a few times afterwards, with no further tearing, however I worried it may rip at any time.Found this repair kit, it was cheap, but thought I'd try it out.It's basically a vinyl sticker, that's very stretchy. I was able to cut it to size, and apply to both sides of the hole. Seemed to seal it well. It's viable after making the repair, but not worse than having a hole.So far it has held well. Slept a night in the hammock, and after sleeping, the patch was in place, and seemed to be fixing the problem.For just a few buck, this repair kit works just fine. I have enough left over to fix more small hokes of ever need be.

I left my 2-person hammock out for the kids to use and they ended up using as a swing with 4 people in it and caught small tree stump I had not seen under the leaves.This is just a small, clear patch, that did not look like it would do the job but we used the hammock all summer without another issue.Great product, bought it as an add on item for a few bucks, repaired a $70 hammock. How can I not give it 5-stars.

This is an awesome product. I got a rip in my brand-new hammock. I was really frustrated and was sure that a patch would only prolong the certain death of my camping-comfort. Instead, this patch has lasted me four months. When I am not camping, my hammock is set up on my porch where my children and their friends use it constantly. The tear has not grown and you cannot see any evidence of wearing on the patch. I would totally recommend this to anyone that has a hammock. You should buy it before you go out, because it is only a matter of time before you get a little tear. Better to have this now than have to wait and risk the tear getting bigger.

So far so good! I've had the patch on for a couple of months, and my hole hasn't spread any farther. It was about 1/2" in size, and it seems to be holding up. Super cheap in price, not so cheap in durability. ENO, you've done it again
