Compre este termómetro hace un par de años y sigue funcionando a la perfección es muy preciso tanto para lecturas en el oído o cuando se toman en la frente.Lo compre cuando mi hija era bebé y era muy cómodo tomar la lectura en su frente sin despertarla. Da la lectura en grados Celcius y Fahrenheit. Y va guardando las lecturas muy útil para indicarle al medico si hay aumentos súbitos de temperatura.

I had read a few reviews about the thermometer being inaccurate or returning false readings and I didn't encounter that issue at all. The thermometer was correct within 0.1 deviations each time I used it and compared it to my other classic thermometer.I love the convenience of both forehead and ear. Works pretty good. The ear temp reading can take awhile when you switch from forehead, which can become frustrating when working on a sick baby. Sometimes the forehead temp can read hot though there is actually no fever. For example: if I bundle up in a blanket and get nice and toasty warm, my skin will read hot as a fever but my body temperature is normal.

Couldn't figure this product out

Not very reliable as a forehead thermometer, with wide swings in measurement over consecutive measures. This is probably due to the size of the lens. I decided to keep because the ear measurement mode seems reliable enough.

We purchased this to try since our other forehead thermometer gave very erratic readings. So far we have experienced more consistent readings with this unit. It is great to be able to take a reading without having to touch a sleeping baby or child.

i don't think it takes accurate readings, i have tried using on my son many times and can never get an accurate read.

WE FOUND THE TEMPIR DUAL THERMOMETER TO BE JUST WHAT WE REQUIRED EXCELLENT AS I SUFFER FROM TERMINAL CANCER AND I HAVE TO KEEP CHECKING MY TEMPERATURE, THE ONLY THING WE HAVE FOUND THAT COULD BE IMPROVEDIS THE LENGTH OF TIME THE LED LIGHT STAYS ON,IF I DONT HAVE MY GLASSES ON I CAN READ IT WITH THE LED ON BUT IT GOES OFF QUICKLY SO BY THE TIME I PUT MY GLASSES ON ITS GONE OFF SO I HAVE TO DO IT AGAIN,ALSO MY FAMILY CAN CHECK IT WITHOUT DISTURBING ME USING THE HEAD PART. HOPE THIS HELPS YOU IMPROVE THIS THERMOMETER WHICH IS NOT MUCH JUST THE LED.EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY BUT COULD DO WITH A CASE TO STORE WHEN GOING ANYWHERE THANKYOU

Very handy for taking babies and toddlers temperature in a non invasive way. Instructions could have been a little clearer. I had to go on-line to download how to change the reading from °C to °F. Not always effective on the first sweep across the brow when using the forehead method but you get better with practice! Test it on yourself or your partner first when you already know what that body temperature is. That way, you can gauge the distance and speed needed for an accurate reading across the brow.

From the limited use I've had with this it appears easy and quick to use. Push and hold F1, move the thermometer across the forehead and release to see the temperature. It appears quickly and clearly. My only slight criticism is the back light is quite bright making readings at night less discreet. I'd recommend this just for how quickly and easily it works.

Easiest thermometer I've ever used! No more guessing if it was in long enough. All the family were skeptical as to wether it would work when just scanned across the forehead, had them all queuing up to have a go! Despite appearing to be like something used in Star Trek , they all agreed that it really did work. For the more conventional amongst us the in the ear thermometer was equally as good.

Really easy to use. Like how it beeps to tell you if you have a high temperature. You just have to hold a button in while moving the machine across the forehead. How much easier can you get. Came within 24 hours even though only oaid for standard delivery. Good machine and good service
